Positiv Facilities very clean, site well maintained, nice for a quite break in the countryside, down side not in walking distance of any shops pubs etc, but fine with car.

It's worth mentioning that there is a community shop and cafe just 1 mile away in the village, which is handy for picking up essentials. As you say, a car opens up plenty of lovely local towns and villages nearby too and Caernarfon is only 2 miles away

Positiv Sehr schön gelegener Platz. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zum Snowdonia und nach Angleyse. Super Panoramablick auf die Berge. Sehr gepflegtes Anlage , alles in Top Zustand.
Bäder und Toiletten sind sehr sauber und werden zwei mal am Tag gereinigt. WLAN
Kostenlos und mit super Signalstärke.

Negativ Die A487 geht nahe am Platz vorbei, daher ist mit Verkehrslärm zu rechnen. Ist aber erträglich und wird später am Abend leiser.
Da kann ja der Platz nichts dafür.

Wir freuen uns sehr, dass der Panoramablick auf die Berge, die Sauberkeit der Anlage und das kostenlose WLAN einen so guten Eindruck hinterlassen haben. Wir reinigen die Sanitäranlagen zweimal täglich mit großer Sorgfalt, und es ist schön zu wissen, dass dies geschätzt wird.
Was den Straßenlärm betrifft — Sie haben völlig recht, das liegt leider außerhalb unserer Kontrolle, aber wir freuen uns, dass es den Aufenthalt nicht wesentlich beeinträchtigt hat.

Positiv I was sent an email with detailed information before arrival which was great, I was greeted by very friendly and helpful staff, pitch was spacious and had an amazing view, staff/owner couldn’t do enough for us, toilet and showers was modern hot and spotlessly clean. The site as a whole was immaculate and everything was clearly signposted, I especially liked the library, game and dvds to borrow, would highly recommend this site

Positiv Cracking site! Bigger than the kind of sites we normally use, but laid out in such a clever way that it never felt too big. Huge, spacious pitches on the grass field - along with some really lovely secluded pitches that are tucked away into little nooks.
Toilets and showers were spotless - although I wonder if there would be enough of them when the site is at its busiest.
All in all, a little gem of a site!

Negativ The only minor issue for us was the road noise from the by-pass. It's not dreadful, but it's just a little invasive at times, especially for me as I'm a light sleeper. It wouldn't put us off coming back, but I'd probably try to got a pitch as far away from the road as possible.

We're really pleased the layout worked well for you. It's also great to know the toilets and showers were spotless; We have a lot of seasonal pitches, so even on Bank Holidays, there are enough facilities, as only a small proportion of the seasonal customers will be there at the same time.

We appreciate you mentioning the road noise too. We know it can be more noticeable for some guests than others, especially light sleepers, and your plan to request a pitch further from the road next time sounds like a great approach — our team would be happy to help with that on arrival.

We appreciate the suggestion about a visiting food bar— it’s a great idea and something we’ll certainly keep in mind as we look at ways to add to the on-site experience. We do pride ourselves on being a peaceful retreat, but there’s no reason a little extra atmosphere couldn’t complement that!

Positiv - On check-in I was provided clear instructions on how to get to the field, and a recommendation on where to pitch the tent to best avoid the winds coming in.
- The toilet block we used was modern and scrupulously clean. The toilets were not very busy at all (visited 26th-28th June).
- Grass was at a good height for camping. Ground was perfect on which to peg down the tent.
- It's very convenient for a quick drive into Caernarfon, and within 10 minutes you can be on Anglesey.
- Has WiFi, which was great. Note, however, we were not able to stream a football world cup game with consistent results.

Negativ - the only VERY MINOR complaint would be that the toilet blocks are farthest away from the field for tents and camper vans. So a 3-4 minute walk for a shower. I know, it's far from the end of the world! :-) But there is also a single toilet (no shower) by reception, so that's much more convenient during the night.
- the minor road runs past the tent field, but as it's not too busy it's not really a concern unless you're a very light sleeper.

Positiv Great well maintained site with lovely views, very helpful and accommodating staff, facilities are modern and very clean (shower rooms were great and no push buttons). Fox field grass electricity pitches were very spacious. Great dog walks and an off lead enclosed field also available. Free WiFi with reasonable speed which makes a nice change.

Negativ Fox field was a little uneaven, struggled a little to level even with ramps but not a show stopper. Seems to have lots of buried rubble so knocking pins in was a little hit and miss. Will try a hardstanding pitch next visit.
