- Visited as a couple but also looks to be good for families with quiet a few activities
- The site is dog friendly
- The site is located well being away from the city but also having good travel links if you need to visit
- The shop on site is well stocked
- Plots were well maintained
- No litter seen throughout site
- A good variety of amenities
- Activities seemed affordable
- Toilets/Showers regularly maintained during day

Syntes ikke om - The pitch was advertised as a 10x10 though the pitch is smaller than this, site staff reported the max tent size within this pitch is 6x4. Though staff were friendly and ok that ours was borderline
- The camping/touring toilets include showers which sometimes means waiting for toilets when more people are showering in the morning

We do appreciate your comments regarding some facilities not being open during your visit. Depending on the season and time of year, some areas and activities may operate on reduced opening times, however we always try to ensure there is still plenty for our holiday guests to enjoy.

Syntes om Great facilities on site and the toilet block appeared to be new. Staying only the one night, we didn't manage to explore as much as I'd have liked but will return again for sure. Although the site was not technically open for campers (a mess up on Pitch Up's side I was told), we were able to enjoy the swimming pool, which the kids love, the BMX part and the train that went around the lake.

Syntes ikke om The toilets in The Venue were never clean, even when I popped in early on departure day and it wasn't busy, to be honest it looks as messy as it was the night before and I'm not convinced it was actually cleaned after closing. Although the new toilet block was fab, I fear there aren't enough toilets for the size of site it is.

Syntes om Pitches were OK, but a bit narrow. Showers and toilets were clean with enough hot water. 4G reception was good.

Syntes ikke om There were no pegs in the showers to hang clothes, just 2 small hanging buckets. The shower spray reached the door, so it was difficilt to keep your clothes dry.

Syntes om The whole place has had a full refurb I think it looks amazing. The shower block and toilets were always so clean too just the heating went off in there and put me off having a shower but that’s all loved our weekend of camping
