Liked Very nice, friendly & helpful staff, beautiful scenery, well organised, flexible. My satnav lost signal and as a result of relying on my own sense of direction I got there late. I was still admitted. As a result of my sickness I had to postpone my stay by one day and it wasn’t a problem either. In the price of camping the cable car in the area is included which was also a great experience.

Disliked Avoid!!! The worst experience ever! Unwelcoming host, the place is basically run by kids. The owner makes up the rules, check in/out schedule on the fly, then threatens to charge more for the stay. They cut us off the power for the last night, because too lazy to unlock the power box in the morning and afraid to leave it open for the night. A joke family, rude. We will never go back there.

Liked Nice and cozy location with extremely beautiful views of the surounding mountains. Hosts are very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Facilities are clean and spacious. 1 minute walk to public transport and you are close to many places in Saastal and all kinds of hikes. Would definitely come back! It's also quiet after 10pm and thus also a good option for families. Lots of space for cars.

Disliked Access into the site is difficult, apart from the little bridge in the sharp turn isn’t good to the right of the site which was the side my pitch was allocated. Had to pull forward then reverse down a grassed wet slope. Tight to say the least. Tents everywhere. Pitch wasn’t a pitch not even enough room for awning. Not enough electric box plug ins so an extension reel with a black bag over. Tents were slotted in where they could fit them it was a joke. Facilities not good, down wet stone steps and not enough due to the amount of people crammed in. Waste area disgusting. Would not stay again

Disliked Don’t look to book for one night as they put you in a terrible plot. Our money was just as good as anyone else’s so we felt let down after 7hrs of driving. We did not stay and drove out to another more accommodating camp site

Really great base for the exploring the Saas valley

Liked Saastal free local travel card included (buses and cable cars). Ability to choose own pitch. Rustic nature (it’s a campsite - not a resort!). Table tennis table was fun (we brought our own bats). Showers were sometimes hot. Single Washing machine was available. Borrowed a Swiss power adapter for the motorhome power.
Disliked Hot tub advertised on website was unavailable (empty). Communal teepee tent advertised on website was being used as storage (farm machinery). Tourist tax and waste tax is payable on departure (not when we paid for campsite (so make sure you have funds at the end!).

Beautiful location. Grassy pitches. Peaceful and lots to do.

Liked Saas area is fantasic, so much to do and bubble lifts and buses included!
The valley was beautiful and cool in summer.
We like grassy pitches and were happy with a more basic campsite.
Toilets and showers were good.
Disliked Nowhere to dump grey water.
The site is a bit of a mess with permanent caravans and other bits of junk.
Watch out for reception opening times on arrival although it was fine for us.
There are lots of taxes to be paid so your overall night cost will go up when you check out.
