Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass pitch (comfort)

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass pitch (deluxe)

Liked insgesamt schöner Campingplatz, sehr gute Infrastruktur

Perfect camping for families

Electric hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked We liked this site and its proximity to the lake. The pitches were spacious even though we were on a standard pitch. Good site shop and lots of places to get food and drinks if you wanted. There are lots of wibit floats and a jump in tower/slide in the lake and no charge for this which we really liked. The site is in a beautiful location. Liked the layout of sanitary facilities and their individual cubicles with sinks in both the toilets and the showers. Hook ups easy to find and water very close to pitches which is very helpful.

Disliked Our only dislike was the sanitary facilities get blocked with sand and lake debris and therefore this floods the showers it also causes them to look a little ‘used’ later in the day.

If you get a chance, book here

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass pitch (deluxe)

Liked Everything about this campsite is amazing. We only stayed two night but wished we had booked for longer. We had a pitch two rows back from the lake and the views were incredible. Centre Parcs-esque with lots of facilities.

Disliked Nothing, this place was great

Electric hardstanding and grass pitch

The personnel extremely helpful. Views of Maggiore magical

Electric hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked Everything.
It is beyond question the best motorhome park we have ever stayed at, and that's after more than 20 years motorhoming throughout UK, France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
The campsite was reception was very welcoming using the English language to explain all the facilities.
Food was on a limited scale but wholesome and tasty.
Showers, washing and WC's excellent.

Disliked Absolutely nothing, but if there has to be negative criticism the hard standing was a bit worn. Considering the torrential rain recently we expected worse.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass pitch (deluxe)

Liked What an amazing campsite. Everyone was so friendly, clean and there was so much to do. Loved the plus of having a free bus into town, a great bonus. We had a pitch right on the lake and it was beautiful. Our 2 year old was entertained throughout our stay and we loved that the road on site was very quiet so she could safely scooter around.

Disliked We couldn’t get the WiFi to work but it didn’t bother us too much as we were happy to have device free days!

Local attractions

Campofelice Camping Village is the gateway to the stunning alpine valleys of Ticino. Start your Swiss adventure gently with a refreshing dip in the pristine mountain waters of the spectacular Verzasca Valley (20 minutes’ drive). If you’re feeling brave, go canyoning in the white waters of Valle Maggia (half an hour) or try a tandem paragliding flight from the peak of Cardada Cimetta (20 minutes) to see Lake Maggiore and the Brissago Islands spread out below. When you’ve seen them from above, take a cruise boat out to the Brissago Islands from Porto Ronco (15 minutes) to have a wander among subtropical gardens. There are pretty Ticino towns to get to know too. Upmarket Ascona (15 minutes) has a colourful Old Town packed with indie shops, a couple of modern art museums and a host of waterside restaurants for sunset dining. In elegant Locarno (10 minutes), take the funicular up to the Baroque-era church of Sanctuary of Madonna del Sasso Piazza Grande, admire the ancient Roman glassware in the museum at Castello Visconteo and then relax in a pavement café on stately Piazza Grande.
