General

  • Fun family site near El Hondo Natural Park
  • Short drive to the beach and watersports at the Guardamar Dunes
  • Tropical pools, car rental, spa, pub, bar and fitness centre

Costa Blanca camping – how fab. And have a gander at that main pool too – blue, big and tropical, surrounded by palm trees and part of a watery complex at this swishly modern site that also includes a tropical pool, a spa pool, waterslides and paddling pool.

Although the pool complex here is extensive, it's a mere fraction of what's on offer at this excellently kitted out site: guests at Alicante's Alannia Costa Blanca have access as well to a spa with saunas, foot baths and a Turkish bath; a hair and beauty salon for hair, body and facial treatments, and a fitness centre if you want to ensure you stay sleek even on your hols.

A games room, library and newspaper stand are also around for leisure, as are miniature golf, tennis and pétanque. Daytime and evening entertainment are run regularly in high season by the Alannia team; off site, you can hire a car or bike if you want to explore the surroundings.

Plenty of options are around the park for food and drink too, with a restaurant, a pub with an outdoor terrace, a tropical bar, a supermarket and a barbecue area all to pick from on site.

Alannia Costa Blanca is in the Valencian Community town of Crevillente, close to El Hondo Natural Park and 15 kilometres from the fine sandy beaches and watersports of Guardamar. It has a car wash, a pet toilet and an accessible bathroom block with toilets, washbasins, hot showers and a parent and baby bathroom. The site has been fully adapted to cater for guests with reduced mobility.

Nice wide pitches. Excellent bar and shop (when it is open😭). Friendly staff.

    Disliked:

Noise from other campers. Had to complain but was told noise had to stop by 12.00 am. One night it was 2.30 am but after that due to the latest curfew in Spain it had to stop at 12 anyway. Security did come and observe which was good.

    Toilets were very clean

    Disliked:

It was like a prison camp. We were 1 minute after midnight from coming home after my birthday celebrations and they would not lift the barrier for us to come in.. So we had to leave our car in the car park and walk 15 minutes to the caravan... Not good in heels after drinks.
The next morning at 9am the staff decided to cut the trees above our own caravan?? My husband had to ask them to stop as it was damaging the caravan and car... Constant noise from them... No chance of peace and quiet. Staff abrupt on reception... Told to wear wristbands at all times and masks... Felt like a concentration camp... Only good thing was the toilets were clean.. Won't be returning as there's plenty of others much better in the area.

Restaurant and shop very reasonably priced. Lovely atmosphere around the park. Everything kept beautifully clean and tidy. The shower block was so warm with underfloor heating. Good washing machine/dryers facilities. Even a place to wash dogs. Good entertainment and facilities for sport, children and hiring bikes etc.

    Disliked:

Need a car to get anywhere, no bus service to local areas.

clean facilities, friendly staff, well serviced pitches, but too cramped for our liking.
Good shop with lots of choice.

    Disliked:

Despite requesting a larger pitch we where directed to a smaller one and consequently had difficulty manoeuvring our 8m+ caravan.
The resturant served cold food which I had to return and the qlty leaves a lot to be desired.

Large modern site with many facilities, including bar, restaurant, supermarket and large pool.

    Disliked:

Access to this site is awkward because it is via a steep narrow bridge. This is not wide enough for 2 motor homes to pass one another. Site pitch assigned to us was not usable as the large shade canopy had been blown down over the pitch and would have been caught on the motor home roof. The 2nd pitch assigned was adjacent to a caravan. The Spanish owners of this caravan did not have their waste water outlet connected to a container. Instead they had chosen to let the highly pungent waste water flow into and across our pitch. They were not at home. We moved the outlet hose away from our pitch and repositioned its outlet on the caravans pitch. When we reported this to the reception manager, he had little concern for the conditions on our pitch, and reprimanded us for moving the caravan outlet hose.
