Jump in the carriage for a regal stay at Camping Cambrils Caban, a family-friendly site 10 minutes from the seaside town of Cambrils and 20 minutes from the Catalonia port city of Tarragona. You'll feel like kings, queens, princesses and princelings here, with plenty easily to hand that’ll keep you busy, entertained and well looked after: there’s a playground for the kids, football, basketball and ping pong for the sporty (and a projector so footie fans don’t miss any games), pétanque for a taste of local pastimes and two swimming pools for afternoon dips. When food is beckoning, there’s no need to travel too far – there’s a bar-restaurant next to the pool for quick snacks, welcome ice creams, refreshing cocktails and sit-down meals, and an on-site supermarket should have everything needed for evening barbecues. There’s so much to do on site it’d be easy to never leave, but be sure not to miss out on this gorgeous part of Spain. Rent bikes on site for breezy cycles along the coast, or stay close to base with trips into the UNESCO-listed city of Tarragona for history, shops and thrills at theme parks and waterparks. Disco meistens in Spanisch aber das war kein Problem. Der Poolbereich war nett aber im Kleinkind Bereich hätte man wegen der starken Sonne eventuell ein Sonnensegel darüber spannen können.

Bar war gut.

Laden auf dem Platz wo man die wichtigsten Dinge bekommt. Supermarkt 5 Minuten entfernt.

Platz ist sehr hundefreundlich allerdings kein Hundestrand in der direkten Nähe.

Disliked Stellplätze zu dicke Äste die tief runter hingen! Bitte einmal Höhe der Wohnmobile beachten und Äste kürzen. Parken super schwierig

Liked Not a lot.

Disliked It was very rustic and rowdy. Facilities were poor even the new block had no electricity and weren’t finished off properly. We were pitched behind a group of tents with at least 20 staying in them. More people just kept arriving and they were so noisy until 2.30am. Quiet time not policed at all. On our last night we were approached at our pitch by an African lucky lucky woman. Absolutely no security. Not good at all

Liked todo bien. lo que esperábamos. A 10 min de la playa. A 20 min de una playa para perros. baños y duchas nuevas en la zona en la que estábamos. Un 10 al personal de recepción y mantenimiento, intentan solucionarte o mejorar tu estancia.
Muy tranquilo, familiar. Para relajarse en la playa. Si deseas ambiente nocturno, chiringuitos, etc. está todo un poco retirado. Aún perteneciendo a cambrils está más cerca Salou

Disliked Para camper o autocaravana de gran altura los árboles son bajos. Informarse antes porque lo mismo tienes que cambiar a otro tipo de parcela y pagar suplemento considerable que no esperabas

Liked Disfrutamos mucho de la estancia en el camping. Es un camping tranquilo con buenas instalaciones. La piscina es un punto muy positivo y el que esté al lado de la playa también. Además, el camping cuenta con una tienda que no es nada cara en comparación con las tiendas que se pueden encontrar en otros campings.

What’s a sunny getaway without a splashing time at the beach? There’s a fab sandy stretch of the Costa Dorada five minutes’ drive (a 10-minute walk) from the site for strolls, sandcastles and swims, and a watersports centre is 10 minutes away for getting out in the water to give paddleboarding, surfing, kayaking and windsurfing a go. To get to grips with everything below the waves, try the diving centre within 10 minutes of base, or keep the watery activities altogether more controlled with an afternoon (or a whole day) 15 minutes away at Aquopolis waterpark. If that's got the kids screaming for more, never fear: PortAventura World is near. The whole family can get adrenaline spiking on theme park rides, cool off in the waterpark, or (and?) live out car racing dreams at Ferrari Land, less than 15 minutes from the site. Something for the grownups? A full explore of the coastal towns and villages comes highly recommended, with a stop at Tarragona for a cute Old Town, lots of UNESCO sites, stellar museums and plenty of shopping an absolute must. Not ready to head home? Celebrate a successful holiday with a tour of the dozen or so vineyards and wineries within an hour.
