Fancy a few days of sand and salty sea dips? Place oneself at Camping Cambrils Caban, a family-friendly site in Cambrils on the Costa Daurada. Here, not only are you a 20-minute drive from the Catalonia port city of Tarragona, but you're also under 500 metres from the sea. And, very kindly, there's also an outdoor pool (unheated) right on site for hours of leafing through a book and breaking only for some breaststroke or a cocktail. You may feel like royalty here, with plenty on site to keep you busy, entertained and well looked after: there’s a playground for the kids, football, basketball and ping pong for the sporty (and a projector so football fans don’t miss any games) and pétanque for a taste of local pastimes. When food is beckoning, there’s no need to travel too far – there’s a bar-restaurant next to the pool for quick snacks, welcome ice creams, refreshing cocktails and sit-down meals, and an on-site supermarket should have everything needed for evening barbecues. There’s so much to do on site, it’d be easy to never leave, but be sure not to miss out on this gorgeous part of Catalonia. Rent bikes on site for breezy cycles along the coast, or stay close to base with trips into the UNESCO-listed city of Tarragona for history, shops and thrills at theme parks and waterparks. 喜欢 Les pods sont bien entourés de verdure, le coin est très agréable et à proximité des sanitaire, de la piscine et de tous les services du camping.
L'intérieur est spacieux, propre et bien aménagé.

不喜欢 Les voisins bruyants du pod d'à côté. Dommage que nous n'ayons pas été dans un autre pod car tous les autres étaient vides...

喜欢 Große Stellplätze, sehr saubere sanitäre Anlagen. Sportgeräte vorhanden. Leider war der Pool gesperrt, dafür war es nicht weit zum Strand. Vor allem hat sich unser Hund sehr wohlgefühlt.
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

喜欢 Friendly Welcome. New bathrooms with a good cleaning. Nice Supermarket with very good bread. And finally we got elecricity from the neighbour Place.

不喜欢 Our Space was Limited with no elecricity or water. We had a Reservation for that, But in the end we got B71, whixh wasnt worth the Money. We couldn’t choose a Place, thoufhbthwre were enough free ones. We has to Change the Place three times!!!!
There wasn‘t always warm water.

喜欢 Me gustó el bungalow para estar con mi perrita, muy limpio, hemos estado muy a gusto, cerca de la playa, lástima que el tiempo no haya sido más bueno, pero eso nadie puede evitarlo. No dudaría en volver a este Camping

喜欢 Cant seem to think of anything that I did like about this park

不喜欢 The first minus was we were given a pitch that had two overhanging branches about two meter's off the ground and our unit is just over 3,and when I returned to explain the receptionist said I know, so why put us there in the first place as the site was empty except for another 3 units.


The toilet and shower block were a disgrace,and the last cleaning signature was 2/10 but we didn't arrive until the 12th. The shower base was slats of wood a marvellous breeding ground for mosquitoes,which of course bit us badly around the ankles.

The washing up facility had no hot water and the bin there was not emptied in the three days we stayed which should have been four but could take no more of the place.We did actually pay for 5 nights but were unable to travel on the 11th as Spain had put out a red alert not to travel due to torrential rain,but we were still charged as they said you wanted paying,although the camp in Mazarron had telephoned them the previous day.

Altogether we stayed at nine different camps in France and Spain and Cambrils Caban is the only one we would definitely not go back to

What’s a getaway without some beach time? There’s an excellent sandy stretch of the Costa Dorada just over a five-minute walk from the site for strolls, sandcastles and swims, and a watersports centre is five minutes' drive away for getting out in the water to give paddleboarding, surfing, kayaking and windsurfing a go. To get to grips with everything below the waves, try a diving centre (within walking distance) or keep the water-based activities altogether more controlled with an afternoon (or a whole day) Aquopolis waterpark (15 minutes). If that's got the kids screaming for more, never fear: PortAventura World is a 10-minute drive away. The whole family can get adrenaline spiking on theme park rides, cool off in the waterpark, or (and?) live out car racing dreams at Ferrari Land, less than 15 minutes from the site. Something for the grownups? A full explore of the coastal towns and villages comes highly recommended, with a stop at Tarragona (20 minutes) for a cute Old Town, lots of UNESCO sites, stellar museums and plenty of shopping. Not ready to head home? Celebrate a successful holiday with a tour of the dozen or so vineyards and wineries within an hour.
