Liked Muy agradable y con sombra por la mañana. El camping era un sitio tranquilo con las parcelas grandes. El camping está en mitad de todos los puntos interesantes de cabo de gata y tiene playas chulísimas cerca. A parte de dos poblaciones a 5 minutos en coche para cenar o pasear. No tuvimos ningún problema y el personal fue muy simpático, y nos ayudaron cuando se lo pedimos

Liked Everything, Such a great camp, Food & drink reasonably priced in the supermarket & restaurant. The food in the restaurant was amazing, The staff have great customer service, Camp kept clean & tidy, Sowers & toilets were spotless 5☆

Supérette mais vraiment pour du dépannage.
Les personnes à l’accueil parlent plusieurs langues.
Accueil très sympathique.

Disliked Pas de coin pour laver les animaux.
Loin de tout, il faut une voiture, pas de bus.
Emplacements petits majoritairement. Il faut manœuvrer.

Liked Lovely site with fabulous facilities. Spotless shower block. Great shop and lovely restaurant bar.
Natural park offers many beautiful coastal walks.
Would not hesitate to return.

Disliked Please tell guests on arrival where the servicing area is 😊 and in advance of arrival notify to park in the car park before checking in at reception.

Route directions

The site is located in the Parque Natural Cabo de Gata. On the A7, take Exit 750 towards San José until you find a detour to the left towards Los Escullos-La Isleta-Rodalquilar. A few kilometres on, the entrance to the site is on the right.

Local attractions

As it's Almeria, a whole heap of excellent attractions can be found in the area surrounding Camping Los Escullos, like birdwatching among the desert landscape of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar natural park, visiting the casas cuevas (cave houses) in Barrio de Chanca, Alhabia, Gádor and Benahadux, or seeing the Alcazaba 10th-century castle built by Khalifa Abdh-ur-Rehman III. Beaches are never far away in Andalusia either: Playa Los Escullos is a 20-minute walk away, and San Miguel de Levante, San Miguel de Poniente, La Garrofa, San Telmo and Las Olas are all within a short drive for activities like windsurfing, scuba diving and snorkelling (lying back and sunbathing is allowed too). Finally, anyone for golf? A few splendid golf courses are in the Cabo de la Gata park – and as it's Almeria, you can even tee off on a desert course…
