As you might have gleefully discovered before arrival, the Andalusia region of Almeria is the driest in Europe, and so arid that it's also the site of the continent's only desert. (Westerns have been shot in cactus-filled Tabernas for decades.) So as you'd might expect, it's all very sunny round these here parts too: the region around Camping Los Escullos, a family-friendly park in Nijar, gets about 328 days of solid sun a year and temperatures very rarely drop below 20 degrees Celsius. Outdoor sports can be had in this climate all year round, so Los Escullos has set up its site accordingly, adding a sports ground for guests to tackle tennis, football, basketball and volleyball. Less energetically, there's a big outdoor pool heated by solar panels, a spacious sun terrace with deckchairs and parasols, and free wifi in all areas. The Camping Los Escullos pitches all have access to the site amenities of two loo blocks with hot showers (heated with solar energy in summer and with gas in winter), disabled facilities, a washing-up area and a laundry room with tumble dryer. Another sunny little touch here? The site playground is next to the Los Escullos restaurant, so you can keep a beady eye on the kids while you tuck into some tasty local dishes.

喜欢 Me gusto mi parcela, Me gustó el ambiente,Los vecinos. Conocí gente nueva. Las instalaciones todo nuevo. Los baños muy limpios. Al igual que las duchas los lavaderos de ropa y los lavaderos de cacharros.tambien habia lavadoras q yo no use,q vienen bien si tienes q lavar mucho ropa
El personal increíble. El de mantenimiento, Pasaba de vez en cuando a ver que todo estaba correcto. Secadores etc. La gente de limpieza,También se les veía cada nada. Nunca faltaba papel higiénico,Ni jabón. Las chicas de la oficina muy amables. La vigilancia Nocturna de la hora del silencio. Bien controlada todo genial yo solo desayune en el bar toda la semana pan con tomare o atun,con zumo de naranja y todo genial amplie 2 dias mas,volvere sin duda 3 sitios cercanos para ir en coche isleta del Moro,el playazo,cala cuervo.....la Playa de Los Muertos sin duda la mejor aunq este lejos y haya q pagar parking

不喜欢 La tiendas, las dependientas eran muy pocos serviciales. Estuve varias veces. Y parece que les debíamos la vida. Secas. Base a mis preguntas. Decian si o no robotizadas,los precios alto gel de ducha q yo compro del Tulipan por 1,15 costaba 2,50por poner 1 ejemplo,los hielos los compre en mercadona a 0.95 y al dia siguiente en el camping a 2,69 o 2,95 vamos casi 3 eurs... lo unico q estaba a precio normal botella de agua grande a 1 eurs

喜欢 Me gustaron las instalaciones , la limpieza , el entorno y cercania de playas ,así como el tipo de campistas respetuoso y solidario.
Animación para los niños y adultos aunque en nuestro caso hiciéramos poco uso por nuestro interés turístico de la zona.

喜欢 Estuvimos muy bien. Nos dieron una parcela con mucho sol. Pedí que nos cambiarán ya que el perrito se estaba asfixiando y nos dieron a elegir entre tres parcelas que tenían vacías. Muchas gracias. El restaurante genial!! La piscina también

喜欢 La propreté et la grandeur des sanitaires : excellente. La gentillesse de l accueil en arrivant : très serviable.

不喜欢 Un souci au niveau de la piscine : tous les transats sont pris et il n'y a que 3 personnes dans la piscine. Les gens laissent leurs serviettes systématiquement toute la journée sur le transat. Les bungalows un peu petit, prévu pour une famille de 2 adultes et 3 enfants mais pas pour 4 adultes. Ce n'est pas annoncé à la réservation que les lits ne conviennent pour des adultes. A savoir qu il y a énormément de colonies de vacances dans ce camping.

The site is located in the Parque Natural Cabo de Gata. On the A7, take Exit 750 towards San José until you find a detour to the left towards Los Escullos-La Isleta-Rodalquilar. A few kilometres on, the entrance to the site is on the right.

As it's Almeria, a whole heap of excellent attractions can be found in the area surrounding Camping Los Escullos, like birdwatching among the desert landscape of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar natural park, visiting the casas cuevas (cave houses) in Barrio de Chanca, Alhabia, Gádor and Benahadux, or seeing the Alcazaba 10th-century castle built by Khalifa Abdh-ur-Rehman III. Beaches are never far away in Andalusia either: Playa Los Escullos is a 20-minute walk away, and San Miguel de Levante, San Miguel de Poniente, La Garrofa, San Telmo and Las Olas are all within a short drive for activities like windsurfing, scuba diving and snorkelling (lying back and sunbathing is allowed too). Finally, anyone for golf? A few splendid golf courses are in the Cabo de la Gata park – and as it's Almeria, you can even tee off on a desert course…
