This site is so well set up for family seaside hols in Slovenia that it even has outdoor showers for pets (as most dog owners can testify, that sand does get under that fur...). Your beachy base is well placed for sandy and other activities too, with watersports available from the site, basketball, handball, volleyball, tennis and miniature golf close by, and a sandy playground with sandpit, swings and a slide on hand to occupy the kids. Around the region, there are spas to submerge in around local town Portorož (one of the biggest seaside resorts in Slovenia), and Adriatic Sea beaches and Gulf of Trieste sightseeing all around. Salt pan and wine cellar tours can be added to the itinerary too, or you could take boat trips around the coast or have urban days in Ljubljana, Bled, Venice, Trieste... Or you could simply stay put and do very little indeed apart from beach basking and occasional sandcastle building: Camping Lucija is right by the sea on the Seča peninsula, covering six hectares of serene space for seaside days. If you're opting for this, opt also for some time in the site bar to work your enthusiastic way through the menu from a shaded terrace by the water, before procuring fresh bread, pastries, fruit, veg and other foodie bits in the site shop to have on a seaside picnic. Barbecues are allowed, but if your 'doing very little indeed' on holiday means no cooking at all, restaurants of all sorts as well as small countryside inns are three to seven kilometres away in and around Portorož and Piran.

Disliked Sehr schlechtes WC und Duschhaus sehr schlechte Lage man schaut nicht aufs Meer sondern auf ganz viele andere Wohnmobile , sehr dreckig viel zu teuer für so einen schlechten Platz

Liked Emplacement assez spacieux, proximité des villes à voir, bord de mer, supérette intégrée au camping ouverte même le dimanche ce qui est très pratique car tout est fermé aux alentours. Parc jeux, pump track et skate Park juste à côté top pour les enfants

Disliked Nuisances sonores et passages en pleine nuit (même toute fin août). Aucune restriction de passage la nuit donc scooter, voitures etc passent même à 3h30 du matin, sans compter les passages de fêtards qui ne se soucient pas du sommeil des autres.
Les espaces sanitaires ne sont pas toujours propres mais les installations sont correctes et l’eau y est chaude, contrairement à d’autre camping.
On vous vend le wifi mais il n’existe pas (même près de la mer comme on me l’a dit à l’accueil).

Disliked Die Lautstärke gegenüber die ganze Nacht durch, kein Auge zugemacht.
Der Fahrrad weg der durch den Stellplatz geht keine Rücksicht Roller und Fahrrad Fahrer und die Verkäuferin im Markt unfreundlich schlimmer geht nicht.
Wir kommen nicht mehr da hin.

Liked The seaview is cool and the Restaurant Takamaka hast really good food. The small supermarket on the Camp has the most important stuff and opens from 7:30-21:00. Close to Piran by Bus.

Disliked The toilets and showers are Not well cleaned. Cigarette ashes and cigarettes in the washing rooms last for days. Why even smoke there? The path/street that leads over the Camping place is nearly Dangerous. Cars are allowed to drive 10 kmh but E-Scooters, Bicycles and cars drive Up to 30 kmh.

Liked Közel van minden, mosdók, bolt, tengerpart. Kutyabarát hely, hatalmas külső résszel, ahol sétáltatni lehet. Kedves, segítőkész recepció.

Disliked Nemzeti ünnepen mentünk, zsúfolt, zajos volt, hiába takarítanak, a mosdók azon a hétvégén kritikán aluliak voltak. Előtte/utána minden rendben volt.

Local attractions

Start your Slovenian seaside sightseeing off in Portorož, three kilometres away: this swish resort is one of the best known in Slovenia and one of the major tourist centres in the country. The wide sandy beach should be a first stop; after that, there are thermal baths to check out, a casino to feel lucky in, and a marina to while away lazy hours at. Portorož – rather fably – is also home to a Rolling Stones museum, displaying the rocky memorabilia of Slavko Franca, such a mega fan that one of his cats is named Paint it Black… Ask at the Camping Lucija reception for details of many splendid excursions available around the region, such as the salt pans around Lucija and Sečovlje, the wine tasting of Koper (20 minutes), the cave at Postojna (55 minutes) and Piran and other Slovenian coastal towns starting from 20 minutes away. For day tripping, Trieste is 35 minutes' drive away, Ljubljana an hour and a half, Bled an hour and 55 minutes, and Venice two hours and 15 minutes.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 3 day(s) of arrival.
Modifications are subject to a €30.00 (£24.90) fee.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Pitches

Units should not be left unoccupied unless previously agreed with the management. Please speak to reception when the need arises, a fee may be charged for unsupervised units.
You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Reception

Reception is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. between 01/04 and 04/11.
Reception is unmanned after 10 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Open fires are prohibited.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/campervan please select the extra.

Visitors

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.
