This site is so well set up for family seaside hols in Slovenia that it even has outdoor showers for pets (as most dog owners can testify, that sand does get under that fur...). Your beachy base is well placed for sandy and other activities too, with watersports available from the site, basketball, handball, volleyball, tennis and miniature golf close by, and a sandy playground with sandpit, swings and a slide on hand to occupy the kids. Around the region, there are spas to submerge in around local town Portorož (one of the biggest seaside resorts in Slovenia), and Adriatic Sea beaches and Gulf of Trieste sightseeing all around. Salt pan and wine cellar tours can be added to the itinerary too, or you could take boat trips around the coast or have urban days in Ljubljana, Bled, Venice, Trieste... Or you could simply stay put and do very little indeed apart from beach basking and occasional sandcastle building: Camping Lucija is right by the sea on the Seča peninsula, covering six hectares of serene space for seaside days. If you're opting for this, opt also for some time in the site bar to work your enthusiastic way through the menu from a shaded terrace by the water, before procuring fresh bread, pastries, fruit, veg and other foodie bits in the site shop to have on a seaside picnic. Barbecues are allowed, but if your 'doing very little indeed' on holiday means no cooking at all, restaurants of all sorts as well as small countryside inns are three to seven kilometres away in and around Portorož and Piran.

Liked Wir hatten einen schönen, großen, schattigen Stellplatz mit Meerblick.
Morgens gibt es frische Backwaren im Shop auf dem Platz, ansonsten ist ein Mercator-Supermarkt ca. 200m vom Platzeingang entfernt. Mit dem Fahrrad ist man vom Platz aus in 10 Minuten an der Strandpromenade von Portoroz und in 25 Minuten in Piran. Der Meerzugang am Platz erfolgt über einen „Betonstrand“ mit diversen Treppen. Der Schwimmbereich ist bis 18.00 Uhr mit einem Rettungsschwimmer überwacht.

Disliked Die Sanitäranlagen sind aus den 70er Jahren und müssten dringend mal renoviert werden. Es wird zwar regelmäßig gereinigt, aber für den Stellplatzpreis von 70-100€/Nacht ist der Zustand absolut unterirdisch und z.T. ekelerregend. Wie schon mehrfach erwähnt hat man manchmal erst ab 3 Uhr Nachts Ruhe, da die Beschallung aus der Partymeile von Portoroz und vom benachbarten Yachtclub extrem laut und unangenehm ist und das nahezu jeden Abend.

Liked De plek voor de tent was ontzettend mooi, lekker in de schaduw en op loopafstand van de zee. Zeer hond vriendelijk met zelfs een honden douche. Net naast de camping zit ook een honden strand en aan de voorkant een honden speeltuin. Supermarkt zit om de hoek!

Disliked Het sanitair is erg verouderd, niet altijd warm water in de douche, en vaak tot laat muziek van de uitgaansgelegenheid die verderop de boulevard zit.
Heeeeel veeel tijger muggen!!

Liked Der Strand ist gut es ist sauber Müll wird geholt . Supermarkt und Bäcker in der Nähe.

Disliked Es ist laut vor allem nachts am Fahrradweg. Die Sanitäranlagen sind eine hässliche alte Katastrophe. Beim duschen kein Platz um mal was abzulegen alles wird Klatschnass. Es ist einfach eklig und unangenehm zu duschen , Wasser zum Duschen und Geschirr Wäsche oft kalt, Toilettenpapier leer , nur 2 Waschmaschinen, die mit umständlichen teuren coins gestartet werden , die Klo Türen sind so alt und verzogen, dass ich und andere Gäste sich mehrfach nicht mehr befreien konnnten bzw nur mit grossem Kraftaufwand. Das ist kein schöner Urlaub , wenn ich im Klo feststecke und Angst habe , nicht mehr raus zu kommen. Es wurde außerdem im Vorfeld nicht kommuniziert, dass Terrasse nicht mit Auto und Zelt benutzt werden kann, unfreundlich und pampig wurde ich begrüßt. Bei Regen sind die Toiletten so dreckig und matschig. Die klospülungen defekt. Eine Frechheit für 60 Euro die Nacht auf der schlechtesten Kategorie. Frag mich , ob der Betreiber , seine Mutter , seine Kinder oder Frau auf so schäbige Sanitäranlagen schicken wollte. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht.

Liked Gute Lage, man kommt schnell überall zu Fuß hin.

Disliked Zeltplätze sind Mist, man bekommt nicht was Sie angeben. Überall sitzen Zikaden in den Bäumen, die so laut sind, dass man seine eigene Stimme nicht mehr versteht.

Und eine kleine Anmerkung die nichts mit dem Zeltplatz an sich zu tun hat, die Mücken hinterlassen ziemlich dicke und schmerzhafte Stiche.

Liked ...hatten einen Platz direkt mit Blick auf die Adria.Eisbude und Snackbude gibt's auch.Restaurant nicht getestet.Stellplatz mit Frischwasser u strom.Das "Waschhaus" etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber jeden Tag gereinigt worden.Ein kleinen Laden mit allem nötigen gibt's auch.Insgesamt sehr gut.

Local attractions

Start your Slovenian seaside sightseeing off in Portorož, three kilometres away: this swish resort is one of the best known in Slovenia and one of the major tourist centres in the country. The wide sandy beach should be a first stop; after that, there are thermal baths to check out, a casino to feel lucky in, and a marina to while away lazy hours at. Portorož – rather fably – is also home to a Rolling Stones museum, displaying the rocky memorabilia of Slavko Franca, such a mega fan that one of his cats is named Paint it Black… Ask at the Camping Lucija reception for details of many splendid excursions available around the region, such as the salt pans around Lucija and Sečovlje, the wine tasting of Koper (20 minutes), the cave at Postojna (55 minutes) and Piran and other Slovenian coastal towns starting from 20 minutes away. For day tripping, Trieste is 35 minutes' drive away, Ljubljana an hour and a half, Bled an hour and 55 minutes, and Venice two hours and 15 minutes.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 3 day(s) of arrival.
Modifications are subject to a €30.00 (£24.90) fee.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
