This site is so well set up for family seaside hols in Slovenia that it even has outdoor showers for pets (as most dog owners can testify, that sand does get under that fur...). Your beachy base is well placed for sandy and other activities too, with watersports available from the site, basketball, handball, volleyball, tennis and miniature golf close by, and a sandy playground with sandpit, swings and a slide on hand to occupy the kids. Around the region, there are spas to submerge in around local town Portorož (one of the biggest seaside resorts in Slovenia), and Adriatic Sea beaches and Gulf of Trieste sightseeing all around. Salt pan and wine cellar tours can be added to the itinerary too, or you could take boat trips around the coast or have urban days in Ljubljana, Bled, Venice, Trieste... Or you could simply stay put and do very little indeed apart from beach basking and occasional sandcastle building: Camping Lucija is right by the sea on the Seča peninsula, covering six hectares of serene space for seaside days. If you're opting for this, opt also for some time in the site bar to work your enthusiastic way through the menu from a shaded terrace by the water, before procuring fresh bread, pastries, fruit, veg and other foodie bits in the site shop to have on a seaside picnic. Barbecues are allowed, but if your 'doing very little indeed' on holiday means no cooking at all, restaurants of all sorts as well as small countryside inns are three to seven kilometres away in and around Portorož and Piran.

Liked: Moře je krásné a obsluha ochotná.

Disliked: Záchodky - daleko a hodně schodů ( nevhodné pro starší lidi ), dlažba dost klouže. Moře daleko . Voda daleko . Wi-Fi nefunguje .

Liked: Bei früher abreise wird nur der Tatsächliche Aufenthalt abgerechnet.

Disliked: Ein Campingabenteuer der besonderen Art: Camping Lucija in den 80er Jahren Willkommen im Campingplatz Lucija in Slowenien, einem Ort, der die 80er Jahre auf eine ganz eigene Weise konserviert hat. Wer Nostalgie und Retro-Feeling sucht, wird hier fündig – aber Vorsicht, es gibt keine Updates! **Sanitäre Einrichtungen:** Die sanitären Anlagen sind ein wahres Zeitzeugnis. Man könnte meinen, Bahnhofstoiletten in Thailand oder Nordkorea wären moderner und sauberer. Eine kleine Reise in die Vergangenheit gefällig? Hier ist sie möglich, allerdings nicht ohne gewisse Herausforderungen. Sauberkeit der Sanitären anlagen gibt es nicht auf diesen Platz. Auch die Leeren Duschgel Flaschen wie auch andere Gegenstände waren noch nach Tagen am selben Platz in den Duschen, das hat uns gezeigt die Duschen wurden nicht gereinigt. **Lage und Sicherheit:** Die Lage ist einigermaßen okay, versteckt in einer hinteren Ecke von Portorož. Doch Vorsicht, die Sicherheitslage lässt zu wünschen übrig. Der Campingplatz ist ein wahres Durchgangsparadies – Schranke ja,aber keine Kontrollen. Jeder kann hier ein- und ausgehen, als wäre es ein öffentlicher Park. Die Durchgangsstraße mitten durch den Campingplatz sorgt für zusätzliche Spannung. **Lärmbelästigung:** Ruhesuchende sind hier fehl am Platz. Die umliegenden Bars und Discos liefern eine exquisite Beschallung bis in die frühen Morgenstunden. Schlafen? Fehlanzeige. Wer sich dennoch ausruhen möchte, sollte vielleicht in Erwägung ziehen, drei Flaschen Wein zu konsumieren – das könnte helfen. **Supermarkt und Verpflegung:** Der Supermarkt auf dem Platz ist spärlich bestückt. Um 8 Uhr morgens gibt es vielleicht 10 Baguettes und 20 Semmeln. Wer hier seine Vorräte auffüllen möchte, braucht entweder viel Glück oder eine gute Strategie. **Personal:** Die Receptionleiterin ist ein Lichtblick, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Rest des Personals scheint allerdings einen Kurs in „Grimmigkeit und Unfreundlichkeit“ belegt zu haben. Ein Lächeln? Fehlanzeige. **Gesamteindruck:** Wer eine Horrorshow der 80er Jahre erleben möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Nach ein paar Nächten auf diesem Platz, besonders nach dem Anblick der Geschirrspülbecken, die das Geschirr noch schmutziger machen, war unser Entschluss klar: frühzeitiger Abbruch. Fazit: Der Campingplatz Lucija verdient nicht einmal einen Stern. Es sei denn, man ist ein Fan von Retro-Horror und will in die 80er Jahre zurückreisen – dann ist dieser Platz ein absolutes Muss!

Liked: Líbilo se mi moc, čistota, velmi příjemný personál. O víkendu trochu hluk, ale je dobré zaparkovat co nejblíže recepci, tam hluk není slyšet.

Liked: Strom und Wasser direkt am Platz, großteils schattig

Disliked: Leider sind die Sanitäranlagen sehr veraltet und entsprechen sicher nicht europäischem Standard. Man erwartet sich kein Zeltfest-Klo oder eine enge Plastik-Box als Duschmöglichkeit. Am Stellplatz mittig 2 Bäume - dementsprechend schwierig mit Parken und Aufbau

Liked: Il campeggio è in una bellissima posizione, immerso nel verde. Il personale gentilissimo. E’ strategico per una passeggiata in centro ma soprattutto (come abbiamo fatto noi) per una bellissima escursione in bicicletta lungo la pista ciclabile parenzana. La nostra piazzola non era fronte mare, ma ci è piaciuta la tranquillità della sua posizione nel verde. I bagni un po’ spartani, ma tutto sommato gestibili.

Disliked: L’unico neo è che le macchine degli ospiti del campeggio possono percorrere anche a velocità piuttosto sostenuta la via interna al campeggio. Questo è stato a tratti fastidioso (motori che sgasavano di continuo) ma soprattutto pericoloso per pedoni, bici, in particolare bambini ed anziani.

Liked: Empfang freundlich. Es hat warmes Wasser. Die Plätze haben eigenen Stromanschluss.Frischwasser. Abwasserschacht.Mehrere Waschhäuser vorhanden Discounter in 400 meter vorhanden.

Disliked: SAT Empfang nicht möglich wegen den vielen Bäumen. Kein TV Kabelanschluss. Duschanlagen sehr unpraktisch und Renovationsbedürftig in der vorderen Platzhälfte. Auf der Durchgangsstrasse wird gerast mit Autos und E-scooter.

Local attractions

Start your Slovenian seaside sightseeing off in Portorož, three kilometres away: this swish resort is one of the best known in Slovenia and one of the major tourist centres in the country. The wide sandy beach should be a first stop; after that, there are thermal baths to check out, a casino to feel lucky in, and a marina to while away lazy hours at. Portorož – rather fably – is also home to a Rolling Stones museum, displaying the rocky memorabilia of Slavko Franca, such a mega fan that one of his cats is named Paint it Black… Ask at the Camping Lucija reception for details of many splendid excursions available around the region, such as the salt pans around Lucija and Sečovlje, the wine tasting of Koper (20 minutes), the cave at Postojna (55 minutes) and Piran and other Slovenian coastal towns starting from 20 minutes away. For day tripping, Trieste is 35 minutes' drive away, Ljubljana an hour and a half, Bled an hour and 55 minutes, and Venice two hours and 15 minutes.
