General

  • In Trentino, close to Lake Levico and Caldonazzo
  • Cycling and hiking in the Valsugana Valley or relaxing by the water
  • Outdoor swimming pool, on-site restaurant and multilingual staff

Keen to get out into the great Italian outdoors? See it as your due at Camping Due Laghi.

Due Laghi lies in the Valsugana Valley near the walks and watersports of Lake Levico, with easy access to the 80km Valsugana Bike Path from Trento to Bassano del Grappa – we're sure you'll manage it in one day? And on site are a heap of more active options, like a football pitch, volleyball and tennis courts, and snaking up and down lengths in the site swimming pool.

Too much activity? We hear you... soak up the sun by the pool instead or lounge around on Camping Due Laghi's private lake beach while the kids are sorted at the playground or under your other half's supervision at the paddling pool... If you then have the energy, regular entertainment is offered up by the site's multilingual team.

There are two restaurants on site too, and daily essentials sorted in the small grocery store. Dogs are welcome and can get in on the Italian action with a run around their own private exercise area.

Overwegend hurktoiletten, slechts enkele normale toiletten.

The area. Lake was beautiful. Lots to do nearby.

    Disliked:

Filthy, smelly toilets wIth no loo roll. Over crowded wIth small pitches. Continual noise from disco in adjacent site.

From the manager...

We are sorry you didn't have a good experience in Camping Due Laghi.
The noise was not from the disco but from the other campsite in Levico, the places were overcrowdedbecause of the high season.
About the toilets, we usually don't have loo roll, and the filth and smell is beacuse of people in the campsite. The toilet building is regularly clean all day long.
Hope to have clarified everything.

Local attractions

Hiking, paragliding, waterskiing... we did say this was an active area...

Take to two wheels for a pedal all the way along to Bassano del Grappa on the Valsugana Bike Path, part of the Claudia Augusta cycle route from Augsburg to Venice. Happily, a few famous distilleries are at your destination for cold and lovely refreshments at the end, and if you really feel too knackered to ride back/on the first leg, the local train track runs parallel the entire way along the path.

More gently, have an two-hour amble around Lake Levico and its several beaches before a snooze by the shore, and once your energy levels are back up, take to a paddleboard on the surface of neighbouring Lake Caldonazzo.

The city of Trento is 45 minutes away and has much to see: start off at Castello del Buonconsiglio and the Duomo cathedral, before a look at the Museo Tridentino di Scienze Naturali science museum and the art museum at the Palazzo delle Albere.
