Campingplatz Bullerby's setting close to the A1 makes it a cinch for getting out and about in the Osnabrück region and Lower Saxony. A golf course is a short drive away too; the Ahornweg, the 100-kilometre maple tree trail passing through the southern part of the Osnabrück region, is accessible within 20 minutes by car. Also a short drive away is the old city of Osnabrück, home to a good range of restaurants and shops as well as play parks and a public pool. Have a look at the 11th-century cathedral or the gallery and museum covering the life and works of artist and painter Felix Nussbaum if you're up for history and culture; for family days, there's Osnabrück Zoo as well as the old music hall of Hyde Park, an Osnabrück institution for music and young people. Have a plant-based day at the Emsflower adventure and garden park, about 40 minutes' drive away, where there's a butterfly garden, tropical garden, indoor playground and restaurant.
