Liked: Loved the pitch we had on the outside edge looking over the fields … saw a pair of owls in the late evening. Facilities were very good, warm shower, clean toilets. Wife and daughter loved the pool and the diving board. Would stay again.

Liked: Auf dem Weg von Spanien nach Deutschland verbrachten wir eine Nacht auf einem Campingplatz. Mir gefiel der Campingplatz. Es liegt in der Nähe des Flusses, es gibt ein Schwimmbad und einen Spielplatz für Kinder. Es gab keine Mücken.

Disliked: Alles war gut

Liked: The relaxed atmosphere, the location, the access to the municipal pool which was included in the stay, the facilities including a bar with authentic French events in the evening and access to 2 further restaurants at the entrance of the site (you have to book). There was a 15-20 min walk along the river into the town which was lovely. You could hire canoes or a boat (you will need cash and ID) €130 for 4 hours for the boat which we took to Macon where there was free mooring and you can go and look around which was well worth a visit. Large pitches with lots of shade from the trees. We would definitely recommend this site.

Disliked: You had to collect the passes for the pool each day from reception. The site would rather give them to you for the duration of your stay but the pool want it done on a daily basis.

Local attractions

Crossed by wooden bridges, the ponds and streams at the Water Gardens (10 minutes’ drive) aim to recreate a peaceful, Zen-like Asian landscape, complete with floating lotus plants, waterfalls and a bamboo garden. In addition to colourful koi carp, you might spot frogs, herons and dragonflies. Big cats, giraffes and lemurs are among the residents at Touroparc Zoo (10 minutes), which stretches over 12 luxuriant hectares. There are also attractions for children, especially younger ones, with a traditional carousel and a miniature train. Meanwhile, adventurous kids can go on a tree-climbing course. Wine lovers should head to Hameau Duboeuf (10 minutes), a theme park with a distinct vinous focus. Interactive exhibits (such as a flight over the vineyards of Beaujolais) illustrate the local viticultural heritage, and you can also visit a cellar with oak and stainless-steel vats – before the inevitable tasting session.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

General

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
Quiet hours must be respected between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The restaurant is open between 01/06 and 15/09.

Pool

Swimsuits are obligatory and swimming shorts or Bermuda shorts are not permitted.
The outdoor swimming pool is open between 07/07 and 31/08 (subject to weather conditions).

Reception

Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. between 15/04 and 02/10.

Firearms are not permitted.
Please do not touch or feed the animals.

Vehicles

The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/campervan please select the extra.
