Off to explore France's Ardèche? Bed quietly down at Camping Saint Amand, in a calm spot surrounded by nature, vineyards and forests – and only 15km from the Gorges de l'Ardeche, the Pont d'Arc cavern, the Paiolive Forest, many little villages and comely French vineyards...

Run in a warmly welcoming way by its owners Sandrine and Franck, this family-friendly site is in a region known for its amicable atmosphere, so make the most of it and aller on one of the many hikes from the site into the surrounding countryside.

Back at base, Saint Amand has two heated swimming pools, playgrounds and sports areas, a bouncy castle, a pizzeria and a kids' club which runs through July and August.

For supplies, Laurac two and a half kilometres away has a bakery, butcher's, pharmacy and post office, and a shopping centre is about five kilometres away.

The outdoor swimming pool is open between 01/05 and 11/09 (subject to weather conditions).

Terms and conditions

Please read the park terms and conditions below and the terms and conditions.

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the campsite must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
Unsupervised minors must have a letter of authorisation from their parents or legal guardian.

Arrivals and departures
No refunds for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
We do not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act.
We do not accept breeds/crossbreeds of Staffordshire terrier, pit bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
Your dog must be tattooed and microchipped.

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The grocery shop is open between 01/07 and 31/08.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Hired accommodation
Hired accommodation: €250 damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found.
Your unit must be left clean and tidy, a fine of €60 will be charged for unclean units upon departure.

You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Only campsite guests are authorised to use the pool.
Some facilities require the wearing of swim caps.
Swimsuits are obligatory and swimming shorts or Bermuda shorts are not permitted.

Reception is open from 8.30am to 12pm and from 2pm to 7pm between 01/07 and 30/08.

Open fires are prohibited.

Local eco/city tax of €0.50 per night per person over the age of 18 is not included and must be paid on arrival.

No cars by the pitch/unit. All cars must be parked in the designated area.
No vehicle movement between 10.30pm and 8am.
Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra cars must be parked in the designated area.

Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.
Visitors’ cars are not permitted on the campsite.
