Keen to spend a few days or an unforgettable weekend in Provence? You’ll certainly make precious family memories if you stay at Esprit de Cirque, five minutes’ drive from the typically Provençal village of Néuoles in the Var. For one reason, it’s in the untamed and off-the-tourist-trail Provence Verte, and secondly, the pitches are on the site of a circus with big tops, clowns, acrobats and equestrian performances.
The site is welcoming and family friendly, with pitches sheltered from the sun by pine trees and looking out over Provençal vineyards and olive groves. Being 35 minutes’ drive from Toulon, 55 minutes from Aix-en-Provence and an hour from Draguignan, Esprit de Cirque is also easy to get to and the site itself is accessible to large campervans.
Facilities stretch to water, electric hook-ups and communal loos, but everything else you’ll need to provide yourself. There is a large supermarket for restocking supplies in Gareoult (10 minutes’ drive) and a couple of bistros and auberges in Néuoles if you fancy a change from doing the cooking.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.- The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
- No charcoal barbecues allowed.
- No electric barbecues allowed.
- There are no toilets facilities onsite but guests have access to site-run toilet facilities 200m away.
