Welcome to Camping de Courte Vallée, a British-owned and run site in the valley of the River Thouet, within walking distance of the medieval town of Airvault.
The campsite, set in 10 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds close to the River Thouet, offers well-maintained facilities and a warm and friendly atmosphere, enabling you to relax and enjoy your holiday in comfort.
Situated in the heart of rural France, and off the main tourist track, the campsite is nonetheless surrounded by an enormous variety of things to see and do. The region is steeped in history and, being on the pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostela, there are many fascinating relics and monuments to discover.
The site has a bar offering coffees and a range of beer and wines as well as a bistro restaurant where you can enjoy simple but delicious meals. Some evenings the campsite organises theme dinners, buffet, or barbecues.
If you prefer to cook a small shop is available and includes a bread ordering service.
Regular entertainment is provided in high season with quiz nights, live music, and a television broadcasting sporting events. You can also discover wine on site with wine tasting session and vineyard tours.
Children will enjoy a dedicated play area while everyone can play at the pétanque court, table tennis, and in the heated swimming pool.

Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children in one booking.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.
