  • A peaceful site near the small town of Péronnes
  • Near the major WWI battlefields
  • On-site fishing

What a pretty place… and with a well-stocked pond for French fishing too. Camping Le Brochet is in the Somme valley, between a small lake and the commune of Péronne, and in an area famed for its fishing as well as its 245-kilometre river.

It's also an area of Great War remembrance: the World War I fields where the Battle of the Somme was fought are close to the site and the region's Great War museum is in the local town of Péronne. Regional capital Amiens is about an hour away.

The campsite has a play area, a ping pong table, cycle hire, a pétanque court and a spacious alfresco eating area that also comes with free wifi. There are also big sinks for dishwashing, and a large amenities block with hot running water and free showers.

Please note that a small daily charge applies for the fishing: pay on arrival if you're going to cast off.
