What customers say
This is a clean, well-maintained campsite with friendly, helpful staff and spacious, shaded pitches. Guests appreciated the tranquil atmosphere, swimming pool, bar, and restaurant, as well as its proximity to Channel crossings and local amenities. However, some reviews highlight issues with the dated and unhygienic sanitary facilities, including spiders and lack of hot water, and one guest experienced a disruptive neighbour. The manager has acknowledged these points and stated improvements are being made.

Electric grass pitch

Wouldn’t rush back
Non-electric grass tent pitch (no cars)
Liked Not much to like. But the reception staff were nice.
Disliked Pitches tiny but fairly flat.
Overrrun with ants
Mini tennis courts, tiny playground and pool all tired.
Toilets ok but not enough of them
No shop onsite
Shops and food places nearby were either shut or awful
It was fine for a one night stop off. The permanent caravans looked ok. But there were a million young children so the toilets were mostly full.
Just wasn’t for us but it wasn’t the worst we’ve been to

Electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely site, very friendly staff and guests situated on the edge of a pretty town. Very well organised site that was well looked after and spotlessly clean.
Had my dog with me and she was made as welcome as my husband and I. Definitely recommend a visit and will use the site again.
Disliked Being a bit picky but the grass wasn't cut around the electric socket bank.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Lady on reception very informative and pleasant
Disliked We had a problem with the pitch as an arrogant French man parked over our side of the pitch and wouldnt move at all as he wanted our shade. He quickly pegged down his awning and refused to compromise. The lady on reception was too busy to come and help (she was dealing with new campers on her own) We waited over an hour in the heat waiting for help. The pitches had long grass and weeds and bushes not attended to. I cut myself on thorns growing across the pitch. 32 school children arrived in nearby tents.
