What customers say

This is a clean, well-located campsite with friendly, helpful staff, praised for its pleasant setting and excellent nearby cycling routes. Pitches are generally spacious and well-maintained. However, some guests found the toilet and shower facilities basic, with occasional issues regarding hot water and the number of available toilets. The pool appeared out of order to some, and Wi-Fi connectivity is reportedly poor. Evening entertainment is limited, and noise from the bar was noted on one occasion.

Electric grass pitch

Liked The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is everything you need within easy reach. Although we stumped them with finding a caravan accessory shop but to be fair we have not been able to find one at all no matter where or who we ask.

Disliked Definitely the facilities need attention. There are spiders everywhere to the point that my wife and daughters could not use them without feeling traumatised.
Other sites facilities are far superior and well cleaned. And the pool could have been a couple of degrees warmer.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Clean site with plenty of trees for shade, essential on really hot and sunny days. There is an excellent cycle route that passes the site that takes you all the way to Le Tréport along the banks of the many lakes and rivers in the area.

Disliked Music from the bar was quite loud on the Saturday night, but if you like this no problem.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Great location next to lake, lovely walks right on the doorstep, perfect if you have a dog. Large open site, interspersed with small trees and hedges. We were allowed to choose our own pitch in early May. Friendly welcome from owner/manager who spoke good English. Nice, well respected cafe by the locals (5/5 on Google reviews May 2025), on site serving basic menu.

Disliked The facilities were really basic and a bit shabby….oh and unisex which was an experience! It wasn’t an expensive site but kind of expect hot water for a shower really! It is a site that appears to be in the process of change. Lots of new wooden clad statics and safari tents being installed. I hope the facilities will be improved as part of this because then I would definitely recommend as a stop off.

From the manager: We appreciate you taking time to recognize our team’s work.
There are some works on the campsite to improve every problems, we are sorry you had to experience all those parts.

Hope to see you for an other stay when everything will be fixed.

Local attractions

Crossed by the River Somme and several smaller canals, Abbeville (35 minutes’ drive) spreads around the Église Collégiale Catholique Saint-Vulfran, with an intricately decorated Gothic façade flanked by two imposing turrets. Green spaces include the manicured Émonville Garden and 60 hectares of wetlands at Park Bouvaque, where you might spot resident and migratory birds. Dieppe (45 minutes) was once a major centre in the production of ivory items, and the museum in the clifftop castle houses a large collection of ivory statuettes, fans and other artefacts. The quays at the harbour are lined with seafood restaurants with outdoor terraces. The National Nature Reserve of the Somme (one hour) is an area of dunes and marshland with nature trails and bird hides. You can explore it by catching the steam train of the Railway Bay of Somme at Saint-Valery-sur-Somme or Le Crotoy.
