Appeared to be very clean and well maintained

We arrived at 10 minutes after 1pm and waited for reception to open for 35 minutes but no one arrived to check us in despite 1pm being listed as the time reception would open up so we ended up emailing to cancel our booking and explaining why. Be advised that they actually open up at 2pm.

From the manager...

Bonjour. Sorry again about what happened to you but i have already explained why nobody was on site. The time reception was not updated on this site, and you arrived for the lunch time.
You have to understand that reception can not be opened all time, especially during the low season between noon and 2 pm.
Most of the time, people call us before their arrival during low season to arrange that, and be sure the campsite will be opened. Because Lot of campsite pretend to be opened all year round, but finally they are not.
A telephon number is forecast on the reception door, if you need, you should call us. I am a bit sad that finally we have not been informed by your arrival time. In that case we could arrange your arrival. And during the low season we have less staff than pick season, that is why sometime we can be busy.

Thank you for your understanding, and next time, I engage myself to make sure that somebody will welcom you on time.
