  • Well-maintained site to the south of Brittany
  • On a 10-acre estate around a 17th-century manor house
  • Two pools, restaurant, games room and lake nearby for fishing
How about this for a well-located Loire-Atlantique site? Camping Parc Sainte Brigitte is in a place of almost 10 acres surrounding the 17th-century Bréhet manor house, only a couple of kilometres from the fishing town and sandy beaches of La Turballe. And you can be pretty sure the kids will like the placing of the miniature farm on site too, so they can trot along to meet the animals... There's loads to do around the grounds here: Sainte Brigitte has two heated and covered pools with a covered terrace; a restaurant; shop; play area; games room; pétanque court; volleyball area and a ping pong table. Guests can wander around the park estate as well as by the nearby lake; stop off for fishing here too if that tickles your fancy. Amenities include a launderette with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, and two blocks with toilets and individual showers, big wash basins and a family area with high chairs and baby changing.

Local attractions

Settle down at Camping Parc Sainte Brigitte for easy access to sandy French beaches, wild rocky coastline, nature all around and old towns and villages... Start off at the local town of La Turballe, historically part of southern Brittany: 11 kilometres of long sandy beaches are here, along with towering cliffs, a huge sand dune and the harbour and port of Le Croisic. La Turballe is on the Guérande peninsula, another stellar spot for mooching around the French coast. The main sights to see here are mainly of the viewsome variety, such as the salt marshes of its Pays Blanc and the Brière peat bog of the Pays Noir. The medieval town of Guérande is one of the best preserved in France and is one of the country's Villes et Régions d'Art et d'Histoire (Towns and Regions of Art and History). Head here to see its 15th- and 16th-century ramparts broken up by their four gates, listed building Saint Aubin's Church, and the adjoining villages of Clis and Saillé, where many houses still stand that once belonged to the local salt workers.
