What customers say
This small, friendly campsite is praised for its peaceful rural setting and proximity to Calais. Visitors highlight the welcoming owners, private pitches separated by hedges, and decent WiFi. While the facilities are noted as clean, some reviews mention they are dated and could benefit from refurbishment. Minor issues like the availability of toilet paper and occasional hot water problems have been noted but are being addressed by the new owners.

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Super friendly, owner went above and beyond. Very helpful & informative. Very relaxed atmosphere. Thank you for having us. Highly recommend. The only thing was the showers could maybe be a little warmer and it would be good to have an on site shop. Would definitely come back again. Very well priced too!

Electric grass pitch
Liked Les emplacements sont délimités par des haies. Les propriétaires travaillent à rendre le camping plus accueillant en plantant de nouveaux arbustes et sont sympas. Les sanitaires sont très propres. Ce qui m'a surtout plus c'est le calme.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Warden friendly. Small pub. Good sized pitches. Clean toilets & showers, which are free to use. Free WIFI. Lovely village within walking distance.
Disliked Pitches need a little more care (weeds + bushes need trimming)

Fine for a stopover if you are cooking for yourself
Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Great for location to Calais. Showers and toilets clean
Disliked Not many amenities close by. Nowhere to get food when we arrived. Campsite next door had a lovely restaurant but wouldn’t let us eat there despite not being full. Maybe it would’ve been a better option to stay there. Also many people live on the site.

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Loved how close to Calais it was without being too noisy or busy. 35 min drive to Calais was a breeze!
Loved free WiFi, was actually decent WiFi too.
Loved how friendly the manager was!
For around £10 a night there is absolutely nothing I can grumble or complain about.
Just take your own toilet paper and hand soap.
Disliked Nothing !

From the manager: Hello,
Thank you for your feedback.
We are committed to welcoming our guests in the best possible way. We have chosen to provide high-quality Wi-Fi free of charge throughout the campsite, as we know how important it can be, especially given the cost of some mobile data plans when travelling abroad.
Thank you as well for your recommendations about our future trip to Scotland. We will definitely keep them in mind!
We look forward to welcoming you back soon.
Best regards,
Aurélie and Fred

Wouldnt return as no facilities are available even though advertised.

Liked Nice hot shower
Disliked No soap or toilet paper in the Loos.
Specifically booked this site as advertised there was a bar & snack bar. Neither were open. The weather was really bad but had nowhere to go & nothing to do. Some went on to another site as was so disappointed. I was leaving early the next day or i would have left too.

From the manager: Hello,
We are sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations.
Toilet paper is available from reception during opening hours. As for shower gel or soap, we do not provide these amenities, which is quite uncommon in campsites, especially on a two-star site.
The bar and snack bar are open on Fridays and Saturdays during the mid-season, and from Tuesday to Sunday during the high season, between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm. There was indeed an error on our Pitchup page regarding this information, and we apologise for that.
The weather was particularly bad during your stay, and we completely understand your frustration. We did our best to adapt to the situation by opening two mobile homes so that campers could stay warm and have access to a kitchen, lounge area and showers. We also welcomed some guests a night earlier than planned (which I believe was the case for you) and offered a goodwill gesture to those who were able to find an earlier ferry crossing.
Unfortunately, there is only so much we can do in such exceptional weather conditions, but we genuinely tried to help everyone as much as possible.
We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back one day, under sunnier skies and enjoying a drink on the snack bar terrace.
Have a wonderful day.

From the manager: Hello,
Thank you for your feedback.
We are continually working to improve our pitches and fill in any holes whenever they appear. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
Toilet paper is available from reception during opening hours, and we are always happy to provide some if needed.
As for shower gel or soap, we do not provide these amenities, and this is generally quite uncommon on campsites.
Have a lovely day, and we hope to welcome you back again in the future.
Best regards,
Aurélie and Fred
