Camping de la Bonnette is a very welcoming family-run campsite on the outskirts of the beautiful medieval village of Caylus. This child and dog-friendly campsite is located along the river Bonnette and has many pitches on level lawns, surrounded by hedges and trees, with plenty of space to soak up the sunshine or escape the heat. The site has also static caravans and safari tents for rent.

The historic centre of Caylus is a 5-minute walk from the campsite, and in the village you will find all the shops, restaurants, bars, as well a farmers' market twice a week. The local baker delivers fresh bread to the campsite every morning.

The location is an ideal base for walking, cycling, and car or motorbike tours through this beautiful region with its fantastic hills and river valleys.

Local attractions

The campsite lies on the edge of Caylus in the Tarn and Garonne region of southern France. Caylus is located in southern France, in the Tarn et Garonne, close to the rivers Aveyron, Lot and Tarn. Not far from places like St Antonin Noble Val, Cordes sur Ciel, Albi, St Cirq Lapopie, Villefranche de Rouergue, Penne, Bruniquel, Najac, Caussade, Montauban and slightly further Toulouse and Cahors.

The Chateau de Cas is within walking distance, and the Chateau de Reine Margot, in Saint Projet at 10 kilometres. You can see exhibitions at the Abbaye de Beaulieu or visit the Abbaye de Loc Dieu. In short, for lovers of medieval towns and castles, there is plenty to see. You can also visit one of the many vineyards in the area.

For nature lovers the area around Caylus is a true paradise. During your walks and hikes, you’ll be amazed by the beauty that is on offer. The part of the Tarn and Garonne where Camping de la Bonnette is located is blessed with fantastic views of vast forests and sweeping valleys. Rolling hillsides abundant in flora and fauna, studded with vineyards and the famous Pigeoniers of the region.

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.

Arrivals and departures
Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act.

Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.
Please select an electric hook-up if you wish to hire a fridge.

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The bar and/or restaurant is open between 15/04 and 15/09.

You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Only park guests are authorised to use the pool.

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Open fires are prohibited.

Local eco/city tax of €0.50 per person over the age of 13 per night is not included and must be paid on arrival.

Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.
Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
