Amazing campsite with friendly staff and other regular campers 17/08/2017

A truly superb small, level campsite with easy access. Large pitches. A lovely reception from management who did everything to make our stay special. It's a very social, friendly campsite with regular campers, petanque everyday at 6pm and joint campers evening meals twice a week, if you want - either take & share BBQ or an excellent meal cooked by the proprietor. Felt very much part of a family. Freshly cooked meals available everyday. A local butcher calls weekly too, so can purchase fresh local meats.
Toilet/shower/washing up block always clean with plenty of hot water.
Lovely clean swimming pool with lifeguard. Also easy access to river if you want a cool and peaceful place to sit
Near to shops and tourist attractions. Great cycling area
Thoroughly recommend - stayed an extra 5 nights and sad to leave

    Disliked:

Would have preferred more sit down loos but timed it ok!

From the manager...

Thank you Helen and Graham !
Best regards from Claudine, Frantz and Falko !

We were only at the site for one day but it is a fantastic little site. We were met at the gate and taken to reception. Owners/Staff were very friendly and even though we spoke next to no French they communicated well and made us feel very welcome. The site is very quiet and an ideal get away with just a small village nearby.
Facilities were very clean and tidy with a lovely little swimming pool for that all important cool down dip.
For the price it was exceptional.
    Thank you very much.
