  • Riverside campsite near Ribeauville and Riquewihr
  • Pets welcome and many dog-friendly walks available nearby
  • Outdoor pool, playground and restaurant and bar

What a pretty rivery site… Camping Le Violu is a riverside campsite in the gorgeousness of the Vosge department, in comely green surroundings close to the commune of Gemaingoutte.

As you might reckon, outdoor activities are in this area by the weeks' worth: have at it at some hiking, horse riding, fishing and tennis nearby along with the swimming and watery sports on the river – or head some distance south for the climbing, gliding and wildlife watching of the eye-wateringly scenic Ballons des Vosges Nature Park.

Le Violu has basic but cleanly kept facilities including an outdoor pool, a playground and a restaurant and bar, along with a laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers, a washing-up area and a toilet and shower block. The spacious pitches are divided by hedges.

Le Violu welcomes les chiens; lots of long dog-friendly walks are around in the site surroundings.
