Le Mas Des Sédariès is a family campsite in the heart of the Cévennes national park. Set in a wooded wonderland at the foot of Mount Lozere, this is a perfect place for finding fresh mountain air. The site offers pitches and holiday homes to ensure an option to suit all preferences with many options overlooking the Cévennes mountain range. The campsite has an outdoor swimming pool and snack bar serving delicious refreshments and food open during the summer season for guests to enjoy.

The nearby village of Villefort is just a ten-minute walk away and it is home to an impressive lake where guests can swim, fish, hop on a boat and enjoy other water and outdoor activities. There is a free summer shuttle bus service from the campsite to the local evening market on Mondays which operates during July and August and to the Thursday morning market so you can taste and pick up local produce. If you are arriving by train, you can also enjoy a free pick-up/drop off service from the station to the campsite between mid-June and mid-September.

Terms and conditions

Additional terms

1/14) Admission is only permitted after registering at reception. The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable or in breach of these rules. No refunds will be offered.

2) All guests spending the night at the campsite must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.Unsupervised minors must have a letter of authorisation from their parents or legal guardian.

3) You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

4) Reception is open from 9am to 10.30am and from 4.30pm to 9pm.
Our reception team is available to help and provide all kinds of information, help and suggestions.

6) Guests are asked to avoid any noise or nuisance that may disturb other clients. Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly. Total silence must be respected between 10pm and 7am.

Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee. Hosts are responsible for their behaviour. Visitors’ cars are not permitted on the campsite.

8) The speed limit on site is 10km/h. 
No vehicle movement between 10pm and 7am. Parked vehicles must not obstruct car traffic or other pitches. Only vehicles belonging to guests staying on site are permitted on the campsite.

9) Please keep your pitch and the facilities tidy and clean. Dirty water, rubbish and any waste must be disposed of in the indicated areas. 

Washing must be done in the allocated area provided (cars included). Hang your laundry in the room provided. Laundry may be hung up on the pitch until 10am provided it does not interfere or disturb neighbouring pitches and must not be suspended from trees under any circumstances.Please be considerate of the natural surroundings, plants and trees. It is forbidden to put nails/tent pegs in trees and to cut any branches. It is forbidden to interfere with the pitch boundaries indicated and dig in the pitch ground. 
All damages must be paid for. The pitch must be left in the same condition upon departure as upon the guest's arrival.

10) Safety
a) Fire: open fires are prohibited and any electric appliances used on site must not be faulty. Fire extinguishers and first aid kits are available on site.

b) Theft: 
the campsite shall not be responsible for your personal belongings or equipment. Owners must take the necessary/usual measures to protect their possessions and equipment.

C) Smoking: strictly no smoking in the holiday homes. It is strictly forbidden to drop cigarette buts/ashes on the ground.

11) No rough or disturbing games are allowed at the campsite.
 No playing in the meeting room. 
Children must be supervised by their parents at all times.

12) Units should not be left unoccupied unless previously agreed with the management. Please speak to reception when the need arises, a fee may be charged for unsupervised units.

15) Dogs must be kept on a lead and supervised at all times, owners remain responsible for their dogs at all times. Their behaviour must not disturb the campsite’s cleanliness, the tranquility on site or other guests. Fouling must be cleaned up immediately and disposed of in the indicated areas. A valid vaccination certificate (including rabies) must accompany your dog. We do not accept breeds/crossbreeds of Staffordshire terrier, Pit bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

16) Barbecues are only permitted in the designated barbecue areas indicated on site.

17) A €300 damage/cleanliness deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found. A €65 cleaning fee will be charged for unclean units.

18) Activities/facilities: The outdoor pool, snack bar and shuttle bus service are available between 15 June to 15 September (weather permitting for the pool). Please note that the night market runs in July to August only.
