Enjoy rest and relaxation, culture and heritage at Camping Le Pont du Tarn. At the foot of the bluffs which mark the edge of the Causse Méjean limestone plateau, this 12-acre site is in a lovely setting on the banks of the Tarn with plenty of opportunities for swimming and relaxing in the river and the heated pool. The more adventurous can use it as a base for the many outdoor activities on offer in the area, while sightseers will enjoy the architectural and cultural riches of Florac, the local area and, of course, the Cévennes National Park.

The camping offers you several numbers of services and equipment, onsite we have access to our pool heated, paddling pool and two playgrounds. You can also play table tennis, minifootball, volleyball, basketball, football and pétanque. Activities for children are organised throughout July and August. As for meals, the Pont du Tarn restaurant has its doors open for you too.

Local attractions

Well worth it: a visit to the charming market town of Florac, meeting place of no fewer than four rivers, where you can visit the “source du Pêcher”, the town’s château, churches, old convent and fountains, take a stroll in the Parc Arnal or scale Mount Rochefort (1066m).

Something different: an intriguing mix of adventure park and outdoor art gallery, Le Vallon du Villaret offers the chance to discover the natural world through a variety of fun activities involving art, music and water in a beautiful valley setting.

Not to be missed: the spectacular sight of the Tarn Gorges. In Lozère, the canyon formed by the River Tarn in the limestone plateau of the Causses offers a unique landscape which you can explore by car, on foot or by river

Get off the beaten track and discover the area!

Driving route: a day-long tour of the gorges of the rivers Tarn and Jonte taking in the lovely village of Saint Enimie, nestling in the heart of the gorges, and following the River Tarn through stunning landscapes to the Causse Méjean limestone plateau and the town of Florac.

Walking/cycling route:
The menhirs (standing stones) at Les Bondons. A 4.5 hour signposted walk across the southwestern slope of Mont Lozère with its striking granite and limestone menhirs. This is also close to the waterfalls at Rûnes and Lozerette.
