Camping Cottage Village aux Hamacs

Lots to do is within walking distance of Camping Cottage Village aux Hamacs, such as getting onto or lazing beside the Aude river just opposite, taking one of the many hiking and cycling trails accessible from the site, or wandering along to the sandy beaches of Fleury a kilometre and a half away. From the beach, stroll up to the marina and Fleury town centre for restaurants and shops. The lagoon landscape, villages and vineyards of the Narbonnaise en Méditerranée natural park are also accessible from the site and make up one of France's biggest natural areas on its Mediterranean side. Wildlife is all around here, including over 250 species of birds (60% of European types) and ponds filled with fish and eels. Fishing is allowed at the Pond of Peyriac-de-Mer. The town of Fleury also has a treetop adventure centre and a karting racecourse, mini golf and tennis courts.
