  • Friendly-family campsite in the town of Fleury
  • A kilometre and a half from southern France beaches
  • Pool, waterslides, restaurant, bar and playground

What a whopper of a waterpark there is at Camping Cottage Village aux Hamacs in the Aude department town of Fleury – where one can whizz down two waterslides, soak in the covered heated pool or splash around in the outdoor pool (where toddlers have their own area too).

It's quite watery around the region as well, as the campsite is a kilometre and a half from the fine sandy beaches of this part of southern France, and just opposite the Aude river, for days kayaking, canoeing, swimming or just basking with book on its banks.

As well as that waterpark, Village aux Hamacs has a solarium, a restaurant with takeaway, a sports court, a large playground and a pétanque court. The small grocery shop sells daily essentials and freshly baked bread.

Wifi is available throughout the site for a small extra charge.
