We used this site for a one night stay only on route to Calais. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The site wasn't full, so we were able to choose our own pitch. The pitch was level and spacious with water and electricity supply. The site had separate toilets and showers which looked to be well maintained and clean - although we have our own facility. There was a lovely lake on the site where we were able to walk the dog. There were a few local shops nearby and I believe Chalons en Champagne was about a 25 minute walk away.

Nice grass pitch with some pricacy.
Toilets were clean , laundry room was good with warm/hot water .
Reception made us very welcome and gates were open at 6.00 am which was handy as we had to leave at 6.30 am to get the midday ferry at dunkirk.
Nice little covered open air restaurant/snack bar with good meals for the money and good wine at a decent price. Near a small lake which you can walk round.
Only fault.....a little dark as not much lighting at night......a problem when packing away in the dark at the end of september.
    Otherwise can,t fault the place.

Good site for local exploration or overnighting but in need of TLC 02/09/2017

I've always loved this site, having brought my children here as toddlers (now adults) - it is easily accessible, pitch size is good and there is an excellent bus service and/or a lovely canalside walk into town. A great starting place for exploring the region or just for an overnight stop.

    Disliked:

Unfortunately, after my 'likes' section, there is a but. When this was a municipal site it was immaculately kept and was indicated in the Michelin camping guide as 'fleurie' with a red tents signs (anyone remember those days?). Sadly the site is now looking tired. The EHU for our pitch had one burnt out connection and two others that our neighbours could not make connect. Some of the water connections need repair too. This doesn't make it a bad place to stay - far from it - and we will return. But the sparkle of 20 years ago has disappeared. I do hope that Aquadis will invest some money in this little site and bring it back up to its full potential.
