Camping la Grande Tortue is in the village of Cande-sur-Beuvron in the heart of the Loire Valley, located between Blois and Amboise. The Beuvron river runs through this lush green region and the area is teeming with castles. The campsite is just 150 metres from the village in woodland area.

The swimming pool area features three waterslides, water games, a paddling pool, an outdoor hot tub and a sauna. The pool is heated with disabled access and has a removable roof covering to ensure it can be enjoyed whatever the season.

The on-site entertainment team is at your service to keep little ones busy with an activity programme which runs six days a week during the peak season. Our kids' club runs every morning, except for Saturdays, for four to 12-year-olds and in the afternoons there are also games and sporting events for older children and teens during this summer holiday period.

Outside of the planned activity sessions, children can enjoy the inflatable play structures, a playground with spring rockers and roundabout, trampolines (there's one for adults too!) and a rope climbing frame. There is a multisport pitch for volleyball, handball or basketball, two ping-pong tables and a pétanque playing field as well as bikes and pedal karts available to hire at a small additional cost.

Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant serving snacks, takeaways and set menus and order fresh bread for the next day from the shop which also sells many other essentials.

Please note

The kids' club runs six days a week from during July and August only for four to 12 year olds.
