  • In the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park
  • A 500-metre stroll from a lake for activities and sunbathing
  • Summer entertainment for all ages

Right in a nature park and an easy 500-metre amble from sunbathing and swimming in a clear blue lake lies Camping Les Chanterelles, a peaceful, placid and family-friendly campsite in the handsomely scenic Auvergne department of Puy-de-Dôme.

Bask by or have dips in the lake or get active among the many outdoor options nearby from here like canoeing, cycling, mountain biking and horse riding; marked walking paths around local town Saint-Rémy-sur-Durolle and a hiking trail in Thiers are also around nearby.

For days lazing around on site, the Chanterelles team arranges activities for all ages in July and August: sports tournaments, games and archery for kids, and disco, film and barbecue nights for adults. The campsite also has a playground, a pétanque court, a mini golf course and a games room with table football and ping pong tables.

Open from 9 April to 8 October
