Liked: Basic campsite, facilities pretty basic, but good showers. Rather a busy site, but option of choosing your own pitch is nice. More of a brief stopover site than one to stay. No swimming pool, but close to an interesting town for a walk.

Disliked: No pool

Liked: The drive through the Vosges mountain range to reach the site was breath-taking. We arrived late but found a very welcoming letter outside the reception which gave all the information we needed. The facilities were clean and there is a lovely outdoor pizza cafe on site. It is also very close to the German border and only half an hour away from Europa Park which was the reason we were there.

Liked: De ligging bij het dorpje… leuk.

Disliked: Sanitair - koude douches - zelf plaatsen zoeken - veel insecten - veel luidruchtige Franse gasten… Geen wifi - onvriendelijke receptie ontvangst.

Liked: Ein wunderbar entschleunigter Platz mit sehr freundlichem, unaufdringlichem "Personal", sehr herzlich. Man kann die Kinder allein lassen. Die Plätze sind individuell und sehr natürlich, Streuobstwiese, Früchte, Blumen... Wir haben spontan verlängert... Colmar in der Nähe, es ist ein kleiner Traum

Liked: V friendly , helpful start . Great location . Good area for bikes Use of microwave, fridge, freezer for bikers .

Disliked: Only one toilet in toilet block for those near the entrance . ( apart from an additional disabled)

Local attractions

Alsace is a fabulous area for those with an interest in history and culture – and an easy place to start is MAUSA Vauban - Musée d'Art Urbain et du Street Art, 10 minutes’ walk away in Neuf-Brisach. The pretty Old Town in Colmar (25 minutes’ drive) is well worth a visit, as is its Unterlinden Museum (and it’s the capital of Alsatian wine too…) If you’re here to explore the natural landscapes, plot a course to the bird observatory in Marckolsheim (20 minutes) or head to Île du Rhin (10 minutes) for more bird-spotting plus walks, bike rides, fishing and sailing. There’s an excellent zoo in Mulhouse (35 minutes), along with the Cité du Train and Musée National de l’Automobile for those whose interests skew more towards engineering. Days out with the kids might include bouncing about on the trampolines at Xperience Park (35 minutes), mountain biking, archery and clambering through the trees at Form’Aventures, a whole lot of outdoor antics at Waouland, or a barefoot trail, toboggans and waterslide at Wiidoo’Gliss (all an hour's drive).

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Extras

Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Reception

Reception is open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. between 01/07 and 31/08.
Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. between 29/03 - 30/06 and 01/09 - 06/10.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.
Open fires are prohibited.

Vehicles

The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/campervan please select the extra.
The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted on site.
Twin axle vehicles are not permitted on site.
