General
- Family-run riverside park in the Ardennes, right by the Ourthe river
- Within 15 minutes' drive of Hotton, Durbuy, Barvaus and Marche
- Swimming, fishing, pool, sunbathing area, restaurant and snack bar
Your Wallonian riverside site awaits. Green, pretty and peaceful Camping La Mayette is the lush and famed Belgian Ardennes, in a wooded wildlife haven directly on the Ourthe river.
Get prepped to get active while here: this stretch of river is safe and clean for wild swimming, while for landlubbers walking and cycling trails are accessible straight from the site. A tad too active for your relaxed and holiday self? There's angling aplenty in the river too, or you could opt for urban sightseeing on day trip adventures at Durbuy, Barvaux and Marche-en-Famenne all within 15 to 25 minutes' drive.
Camping La Mayette is in Belgium's Luxembourg province, a 15-minute drive from Hotton and within an hour of France and Luxembourg. It's an excellently-set base for adventures in all directions, but do make time for lazing around on site as well: entertainment includes pétanque competitions, bingo, karaoke, dancing, and five a side football tournaments; there's a pool to splash in and an adjoining garden for sunbathing, and the communal campfire area is where to wind down of an evening.
The site also has a snack bar for quick bites and refreshing drinks, as well as a restaurant serving local traditional cuisine.
