Disliked: Badezimmer sind etwas weit weg und nicht alle Leute sind fähig bei freier Platzwahl respektvoll mit dem Raum eines anderen umzugehen

Liked: Great location in the mountains and lovely walks nearby.

Disliked: Unfortunately, there are not staff that can police inappropriate behaviour on site in the evening. On the second night, there were a mixed group of adults playing a loud speaker until one in the morning. Additionally to this, they have an honesty police regarding their beer which a few of their rafting guides took full advantage that night also and were loudly drinking in the house next to the pitches.

It is a shame and they should have someone there to operate the site if this occurs again which I am sure it will.

Liked: Zielono, czysto i schludnie. Można robić namiot gdzie Ci pasuje. Wielkie pole. Wszystko zgodne z opisem. Można pokarmić kozy. Jest ogólnie dostępny bar. Bierzesz napoje i sam się za nie rozliczasz. Czuć duże zaufanie . Łazienki zadbane. Ubikacje czyste. Pachnie. Wrócimy i polecam od serca !♥️ zorganizowana grupa miała jedzienie.

Disliked: Brak możliwości zjedzenia obiadu kolacji. Przywieś ze soba jedzenie.

Liked: The facilities were very clean.
The selection of drinks.
The freedom to park up where ever you wanted in the area.
The beautiful views.

Disliked: A few more toilets would have been great but this was not a massive issue.

Local attractions

Rafting Camp Palfau is an ideal starting point for whitewater tours on the Salzatal river nearby – you can book rafting and canyoning tours directly on site as well as hire all the gear you need. Walking excursions can be organised too, including testing hikes past cliffside waterfalls in the awe-inspiring Palfauer Wasserlochklamm gorge (five minutes’ drive). The UNESCO-listed Nature and Geopark Styrian Eisenwurzen (25 minutes) is another fantastic spot for adrenaline-inducing whitewater rafting as well as exploring deep inside subterranean limestone complexes like Kraus Cave (10 minutes). Thankfully, the geopark is also home of gentler pursuits: Mendlingtal Adventure World (five minutes’ drive) highlights the region’s forest heritage with tours of an historic forgeman’s house, grain mill and a bakery. See how wood was once transported down the river at the Austrian Forest Museum Silvanum (15 minutes), where there are also sledge and raft rides to keep the kids entertained, or you can tire them out further with high-ropes courses and archery lessons.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Extras

Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

Entertainment and activities are available between 25/04 and 12/10.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Portable Speakers are not permitted.
Public areas are non-smoking.
Quiet hours must be respected between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m..
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.
This is a quiet site: no music is allowed.

Occupancy

Group bookings of 2 or more units (e.g. tent, touring caravan, motorhome or accommodation hire) travelling together are not permitted via Pitchup.com.

A cable measuring at least 15 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.

Reception

Reception is open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. between 25/04 and 12/10.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
Open fires are prohibited.
Please do not touch or feed the animals.

Visitors

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
Visitors must leave the premises by 11 p.m..
