This is a beautiful, peaceful, and quirky campsite with spacious, well-laid-out pitches. Visitors consistently praise the exceptional cleanliness and quality of facilities, particularly the communal kitchen. The owners are frequently described as friendly, welcoming, and helpful, contributing to a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. Children enjoy the play area and exploring the natural surroundings, including the river. Peaceful and naturally beautiful site with well thought-out facilities
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch (wild)
Liked There was so much we loved about this site. The owner was friendly, helpful and happy to tell us the story of the site and the buildings. The pitches were spacious and peaceful and we were able to enjoy the natural surroundings. There were just enough other campers for us adults and children alike to make friends. It was a real novelty to put our Prosecco in a real fridge on arrival so we could celebrate pitching up in style. Personally I enjoyed the opportunity to swim in the river. The nearby pub/Indian restaurant is highly recommended too; great service and great food within walking distance.

Liked This campsite is perfect! The host was lovely and accommodating for our late arrival, the peacefulness of the site was wonderful. The shower/toilet facilities were the best we have seen at a site as well as the bonus of the kitchen with a dining table and pots and pans to use. The stay was 10/10 and we will be returning!
