  • Quiet Pembrokeshire farm site with alpacas
  • 10 minutes’ drive to Newport town, with cafés, pubs and beaches
  • Dining area and firepits with logs included; barbecues permitted
Coedfryn Farm is a small farm site, 10 minutes’ drive from the town of Newport in Pembrokeshire. All pitches here have their own firepit and dining area with firewood supplied. There are shower facilities for all and an allocated toilet for each pitch. You’ll have some friendly neighbours to get acquainted with during your stay… in the form of alpacas and a lamb. When you roll up in this sheltered woodland valley at the foot of the Preseli Hills, you’ll be able to admire the views of the Mynydd Carningli mountain and Newport bay by day. By night, as there is little to no artificial light in the area, turn your gaze skyward for some starry skies (barbecue sizzling away and firepit roaring in the background, of course). You’ll be surrounded by hills, mountains, wooded valleys and streams, so it’s a real walkers’ (and cyclists’) paradise, and there’s a public footpath running through the site which links to the village of Nevern (20 minutes’ walk), where there’s a pub serving food. The local beaches, meanwhile, start about 10 minutes’ drive away. Get stuck into dolphin watching, kayaking, horse riding and cycling (through cycle hire) in the local area too.

Liked: Small quiet campsite, with plenty of space for the kids to run around. Really liked having a private toilet, camp kitchen and fire pit (plus wood). Lovely hot showers too!
