Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Loved the space between each pitch and the field itself. Plenty of space and lovely park (little bit of TLC needed on a few sharp bits and loose bits) The boys loved the tractor. Very easy to find and plenty in driving distance. The boys loved the games room and the farm onsite. Was really handy having a shop too for essentials. Felt very family orientated and safe. Staff bent over backwards to help.

Disliked The only thing I would say is the showers and toilets are not male and female and within the gaming area - although not an overall issue. I had to bear in mind as felt a bit vulnerable at times. Honestly it wasn’t a massive deal and I saw them being cleaned multiple times a day which meant they were always in a good state. The hot water didn’t work once and was fixed very promptly!

There is also no welcome on arrival or induction to where anything is but we managed to find everything in the end.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Lovely camp site. Was perfect for my first time taking my two children in a tent & the pictures don’t do it justice. Good price & location, not far from folly farm /tenby. My children were a bit excited the 2nd night & owners were friendly & polite about being quiet time. If going Pembrokeshire again I’d def go back.

Electric grass pitch

Liked I recently stayed for two nights with EHU at Oakfields and had a wonderful experience.
I was shown to my pitch on arrival, which had more than enough space. I really appreciated the grass boundaries and the picnic bench, and it was refreshing to have such generously sized EHU pitches where everyone wasn't crammed together like sardines.

As a solo female camper, safety is really important to me, and I felt completely safe throughout my stay at Oakfields. I loved being surrounded by the friendly farm animals, which you can walk to and pet, and the beautiful cats that came to visit my tent.

The site is in an ideal location for visiting local attractions and places of interest. I also appreciated having access to Wi-Fi, freezer facilities, and a sink for washing dishes. The facilities were always clean and tidy, and when there was a minor issue with the outdoor hot water tap, it was fixed within five minutes.

The owner and her family were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. They were always happy to chat, and their animals were some of the best-behaved and friendliest I have ever met.

I can't wait to return and would happily recommend Oakfields to anyone looking for a peaceful, spacious, and welcoming campsite.

Non-electric grass touring pitch

Liked I loved this site, we did arrive a little earlier and had to ring the owner up.. We arrived in our campervan.. The lady came across the court yard happy and smiling. She showed us all that was on offer, ie toilets, showers, shop and games area. We were suppose to be on a green field pitch and because they weren't that busy she allowed us to park on an Electric Hook Up area with our van.. She also mentioned that they had a petting zoo of animals just across the fence. But they were very welcoming and friendly.. Will definitely use these guys again if we were in the area.. Also very good for the monies..

Disliked didn't dislike anything..

Local attractions

Having Wild Lakes Wales just up the road is a great thing, but that’s far from the only option around here for active types. There’s also plenty to choose from at Heatherton World of Activities (15 minutes’ drive), including ziplining, archery and zorbing, or you can go pony trekking in the Preseli Hills (40 minutes). If the weather’s not so good, get some speed up with the indoor karting at West Wales Karting (20 minutes) or leap about at Hangar 5 trampoline park (25 minutes). For gentler family-friendly days out, look to places like Clerkenhill Adventure Farm & Frizbee Golf Course (10 minutes), Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo (10 minutes) or The Dinosaur Park Tenby (15 minutes), all with plenty of fun for the youngsters. Alternatively, get a heritage fix at Carew Castle (10 minutes) or Pembroke Castle (20 minutes). And of course some time at the coast has to be on the cards, whether you fancy a long walk on the Wales Coast Path or a day at the beach – Saundersfoot (15 minutes) and Tenby both have fabulous sandy beaches, or you could try wilder spots like Manorbier (25 minutes) and Barafundle Bay (half an hour).
