Wakeboarding, sandy beach days, go-karting, adventure golf, woodland walks… the list of possible activities surrounding Oakfields Holiday Accommodation goes on and on. This family-run Pembrokeshire site is in a particularly fine spot that’s fairly central within the county and about 15 minutes’ drive from the beaches of Saundersfoot. There are 11 acres of land at this site so there’s plenty of space for all guests – families, groups, couples and solo travellers alike. It’s all nicely laidback as well, with dogs welcome and a play area and games room provided for the kids. Practicalities are well sorted too: the site has an honesty shop, a shared freezer, a chemical disposal point and a washing-up area as well as a water point and a bathroom block with three toilets and two showers. What’s close by is equally enticing – there’s a pub about 10 minutes’ walk away for easy meals and a few drinks, and dog owners can stroll with their buddies to Canaston Wood (about half an hour away). Watersports may well be on the agenda too, as Wild Lakes Wales is only 10 minutes’ walk away – it’s got a bouldering wall and a popular restaurant as well as the main wakeboarding and aqua park activities.

喜欢 We loved every moment at this campsite!
There’s a shop, a games room, a whole lot of animals, and pitch size was amazing!

We arrived and left our camper at the pitch to explore. We were the only ones there so we played pool, darts and table tennis for hours on end and ordered a takeaway which delivers. We were first accompanied by the cat and the two dogs which were all super friendly! We were then accompanied by the two owners and one of their children, they all seemed lovely and were happy to chat with us!

The animals are all well looked after and we wish we had time to book the meet and greet!

We’re so sad we only booked one night due to a road trip, but it was such a lovely stay!

We’re now looking at booking a girls trip with some of the houses and huts they have!

喜欢 Came last year and loved it that much we came again this year but also brought along my cousin and his family and 2 of our friends too so we had three pitches this time. First time me and my daughter have revisited the same camp site. Lovely seeing the added extras this year compared to last year. My daughter loved the animals just as much as last year and even reunited with her best friend daisy the goat. Lovely clean site, great facilities, family friendly and all round great experience. Lovely family run place. Owners very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend. Was still accessible to the toilets for my cousins wife who uses an electric wheelchair. Grounds well maintained. Will be back again in the future.

喜欢 Lovely family run campsite with large pitches.
Really liked how spacious each pitch is, the owners have cut dedicated pitches into the long meadow grass, leave the longer grass around that gives privacy and space. The main campsite has a mixture of electric and non electric hookup pitches (we had non eh) and some bell tents for hire too.
There is a small shop (limited opening times twice daily but are at convenient times) a comfortable games area with seperate are for small tots, unisex showers and toilets which were lovely and clean.
There are also animals to feed if your up in the morning including pigs, alpacas and horses, but beware Daisy the goat loves to come out to play (she is a little star 😍).
The site is in the countryside but only around 15 mins from Pembroke dock in one direction, Saundersfoot and tenby the other. Close to all attractions like folly farm, Anna's Welsh zoo, Heatherington, Tenby Dinosaur Park and more. 15/20 mins to beaches, and easy commute to St David's and the rest of the Pembrokeshire coast.
Fab little campsite and will definitely return.

Stag's Hide 牧羊人小屋

喜欢 What an amazing break, shepherds hut had everything you need. Garden perfect for our two dogs. The animals on the park added bonus.
Clean and really well maintained

喜欢 Took my kids here for a quick getaway and we had a lush time.

Liked :
- animals were friendly and the kids enjoyed petting them. My daughter loved the cats especially.
- the games room was lots of fun. We spent the evening playing pool, darts, ping pong, table football etc
- the park was lovely, lots of kids enjoying. The football area was great too.
- facilities were kept clean and tidy
- the shop was well stocked for any forgotten bits.

不喜欢 The toilets and showers felt like they lacked a bit of privacy with them being so close to the games room. But soon got used to it.

Having Wild Lakes Wales just up the road is a great thing, but that’s far from the only option around here for active types. There’s also plenty to choose from at Heatherton World of Activities (15 minutes’ drive), including ziplining, archery and zorbing, or you can go pony trekking in the Preseli Hills (40 minutes). If the weather’s not so good, get some speed up with the indoor karting at West Wales Karting (20 minutes) or leap about at Hangar 5 trampoline park (25 minutes). For gentler family-friendly days out, look to places like Clerkenhill Adventure Farm & Frizbee Golf Course (10 minutes), Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo (10 minutes) or The Dinosaur Park Tenby (15 minutes), all with plenty of fun for the youngsters. Alternatively, get a heritage fix at Carew Castle (10 minutes) or Pembroke Castle (20 minutes). And of course some time at the coast has to be on the cards, whether you fancy a long walk on the Wales Coast Path or a day at the beach – Saundersfoot (15 minutes) and Tenby both have fabulous sandy beaches, or you could try wilder spots like Manorbier (25 minutes) and Barafundle Bay (half an hour).
