Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked: Lovely clean campsite, large pitches, welcoming staff and the honesty shop is a lovely idea. I just hope that people don't abuse it. We also loved the animals on site in paticular Tommy the chicken!

Disliked: Nothing really. From what we could see there weren't any local shops or restaurants so just make sure you prepare and take food.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked: Lovely views and a very warm welcome, toilets and showers weren’t the most luxurious but spotless and worked as they should, very powerful shower . All in all very nice relaxing 2 night break.

Disliked: Very muddy and slippery road to get to site.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked: Great location to nearby attractions and Narberth - a lovely little town to visit. Beautiful views, nice large plots. Friendly welcome on arrival and throughout stay.

Disliked: Toilet facilities looking tired Hot Water unreliable (signs saying to turn shower on&off again if hot water stops - not what you want mid-shower!) Only 1 washing up station working - looks like they closed half of the facilities off as the site wasn't that busy. Meant a bit of a wait for washing up. Picnic benches not present on all plots as described (we had to poach a very rickety one from a nearby vacant plot) Had noisy neighbours in the adject field the first night. We weren't looking for complete quiet but music pumping loudly at gone midnight with young children trying to sleep isn't great. Did tell the hosts the following day who kindly said they'd monitor it, not sure if they did or the noisy neighbours went home!

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked: The site was lovely. It had great views on the clear days. The pitches were nice and large with a water supply on each. The shower blocks and toilets were nice too. Large areas in each shower to change and get dry. The washing up facilities were good, indoors so away from any inclement weather. The site warden Abbie was very friendly and always on hand to help.

Disliked: Nothing.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked: Little gem of a campsite. Easy to find/access.given a lovely welcome to the site from Abi,who throughout our stay was absolutely wonderful.our pitch can only be described as overly generous, with parking for both our car and van directly in front and plenty of space for the bbq, fire pit and even for our little monsters to play. The facilities were great, clean, well stocked and decent showers.location wise,it was the perfect base to explore the beautiful local beaches with a short drive and adventure parks only a stones throw away.getting supplies wasn’t an issue with plenty of supermarkets nearby and especially in our case a garage that sold gas.we all throughly enjoyed our stay and planning our next trip.

Disliked: Bins! There's a £2 charge for general waste. No bins for dog waste in the dog walking field, or anywhere on site. Quality and access leading to site is extremely narrow

From the manager: Hi, we’re really sorry to hear that you didn’t visit our recycling area where there are all the necessary bins for recycling, including dog waste.

Local attractions

Why is Pembrokeshire such a popular part of the world for family holidays? Well, that would be the extensive list of attractions – enough to keep even the most energetic of nippers busy for many a day. The very closest of these are Oakwood Theme Park and the Blue Lagoon waterpark (both 10 minutes’ drive), and it’s only a little further to further family antics at Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo or The Secret Owl Garden (both 15 minutes) or Manor Wildlife Park (20 minutes). A 15-minute drive will also get you to Carew Castle & Tidal Mill for a dip into the area’s past. It would, of course, be very wrong to skip the chance of a seaside day or two while you’re here: try Tenby (25 minutes) for a clutch of sandy beaches and wildlife-spotting boat trips or get over to Barafundle Bay (half an hour) for your chance to spend some time at a beach that frequently features on lists of the world’s finest. Something for the grownups? That previously mentioned wine spot is Cwm Deri Vineyard, 15 minutes’ walk away…
