  • Spacious touring pitches at a Pembrokeshire riverside park
  • A 10-minute drive to Tenby or Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo
  • Easy access from A477; village pub, chip shop and bakery just outside
Peaceful riverside setting – tick. Easy access from the main road – tick. Lots of family attractions a short drive away – tick. Pub pretty much next door – tick… In short, it has to be said that Milton Bridge Caravan Park is in a pretty excellent spot for a Pembrokeshire break. The attractive riverside location and scenic rural backdrop give it a very secluded feel that’s just right for a relaxed getaway – and yet it’s handily located just off the A477 in the village of Milton. That convenient location means that you’ll have all the village amenities – a popular bakery, a chip shop, a sandwich bar, a play area and, yes, a friendly pub – just outside the gates, and having the main road so close by should mean nice speedy journeys to lots of local attractions. ‘Lots’ is the operative word here: the likes of Manor Wildlife Park, Heatherton World of Activities and Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo are all within a 10-minute drive, and a similar length of journey will also get you to the fabulous sandy beaches of Tenby or the historic streets of Pembroke. There are heaps more beaches, castles and other attractions dotted around within a short drive – and if you don’t fancy getting in the car you can take a 15-minute walk along a footpath to nearby Carew Castle. It’s not all about the location here though – the park itself is well maintained and well equipped, with spacious serviced hardstanding pitches, a launderette, a chemical disposal point, washing-up areas and clean toilet/shower blocks. Dogs are welcome as long as they're kept on a lead and cleaned up after; they can be walked along the scenic walking paths along the river and to Carew Millpond.

What customers say

This peaceful site offers spacious pitches, a short drive from the beach, with a pleasant walk to Carew Castle. Visitors praised the clean and spotless toilets and showers with hot water, along with easy and friendly check-in. While the entrance can be tricky to find and the turn tight, guests found the scenic location convenient for local attractions. The new owner is actively improving the site, and many intend to return.

Liked Excellent site, spotlessly clean. Good facilities. Fish and chip shop opposite, great pub at the entrance to site.

Owner messaged pitch number prior to arrival, and came to say hi later! Great communication!

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Warm welcome/helpfulness of owners. Exceptionally clean facilities. The changing tides that filled the river with some life at the end of the site was interesting. Local walks. Being very close to Tenby & the coast. A short drive to Pembroke if you needed supplies.

Disliked I expected a larger site. I appreciated a bin being provided for dog waste as you don’t get this at all sites. Unable to get Wi-Fi; may have been my tech skills. Need to be mindful there are steps up to washing facilities as may not suit everyone.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked The site was lovely and clean. The shower and toilets were spotless and lovely hot water. Ease of checking in was good and the times to arrive and leave good. We will definitely consider returning.

Disliked It was a little hard to find as the sign for the entrance is slightly off the road and Sat nav took us past the sign. It is a tight turn into it. It did not deter us though and would go back again.
