Electric grass pitch

Liked: Fabulous site and location. Close to beautiful beaches and coves along the coast line. Park Hall is a lovely relaxed site with clean facilities, showers, laundry room etc. The pitches are all grassed and very spacious. Dave is super helpful, friendly and always around . This was our second visit and won't be our last.

Electric grass pitch

Liked: Great spot to explore the Pembrokeshire coast, wonderful and ideal location. Lots of beautiful spots to explore a short distance away. Lots of spots to choose from when pitching up, lovely views, clean washing up area, toilets and showers, polite and friendly site manager.

Disliked: During our stay we had water which came out greeny/cloudy colour, it cleared after a few hours. Paying 20p for showers. For females probably 40p a time if you’re efficient. Take a bag to put items up high so your stuff doesn’t get wet too. There is no Wi-Fi We would stay here again if exploring this area.

Local attractions

It’s all about the quiet life in this part of Pembrokeshire, with wholesome activities to fill your days including slow strolls on Newgale beach (five minutes’ drive) and Whitesands Bay (20 minutes), as well as restful wanders around the sheltered harbour in Solva. Britain’s smallest city, St Davids, is also in the area – head here to have a nose at the cathedral, the final resting place of the patron saint of Wales, and the ruins of the Bishop's Palace. Amble along the coastal path from here towards the Chapel of St Non, a mysterious undated church named after the saint’s mother, too. For more beach times there are plenty to pick from, but it’s especially advisable to bring the bucket and spade along to Barafundle Bay, a stretch of sand often voted one of the best in the UK. If wandering with wildlife is more your bag, jump on a boat at Marloes (35 minutes) to Skomer island in the hopes of seeing the puffins (between April and July). Closer to the park are creatures of the creepy-crawly kind at Dr Beynon's Bug Farm (15 minutes), an establishment dedicated to teaching visitors all about insects.
