What customers say
This site offers a peaceful, idyllic experience with friendly and helpful hosts, set in a beautiful location with great views. Animals provide amusement for children. However, reviews highlight concerns with the basic compost toilets, particularly their hygiene and proximity to showers. Shower facilities, while generally clean, have dated fittings and inconsistent water temperature. Some guests found the cost high for the amenities provided, preferring a more conventional camping experience.

Not worth the money,
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked No one there, peaceful. I wonder why? Hosts friendly.
Disliked Composite toilets within the shower block, lots of flies. The shower block was not cleaned. 2 showers, the one I used had nowhere to hang a towel or hold your shower gel. Water is powerful and hot, but one of the mechanical push button timers which is very annoying as it is on gas so goes cold before hot every time. Very expensive for what it is £25/night !!! Now the big one .. the toilet at the end of the field, the most disgusting, unhygienic thing I have ever seen on a campsite. It was a wooden chair someone had carved a hole in .. and below was everyone's poo and toilet waste. I have stayed at many campsites, worst so far!

Non-electric grass and earth campervan pitch
Liked Very friendly staff. A site definitely if you want a bit of the wild camping experience.
Disliked I actually booked the wrong site when I booked here.
The toilets were compost the showers were clean but water kept going cold. Was okay if you wanted wild type camping. But we was hoping for a more of a proper site. My fault entirely.
