What customers say

This well-maintained site offers stunning views of Fishguard harbour and easy access to the Coastal Path. Visitors praise the clean, well-equipped facilities, including hairdryers and laundry options. The peaceful atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff are frequently highlighted. Some noise from ferries can be audible in specific conditions, and WiFi connectivity is noted as inconsistent. The lane to the site is narrow.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Lovely clean site with the most amazing views! Toilets and showers were very clean. Pitch sizes were a good size too! Friendly staff. The Pembrokeshire coastal path passes right through the site. Definitely recommend a walk for the views! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Disliked Not being pitched together with our accompanying family members. They did know we were together when we booked but we had separate grass pitches so couldn’t sit together without having to go to each others tent, would have preferred a pitch side by side so we could have a garden between us to sit together and keep the dogs in. Our pitches were separated by a drive to the static caravan whereas some pitches had room to be together. The gravel paths are noisy at night but otherwise it was a lovely stay!

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked View was great. We eventually got sited on a reasonably sized pitch. The original pitch was tiny and right next to a lodge.

Disliked Some pitches have been squeezed in next to lodges so very little privacy. Road into site is very narrow, not really suitable for a large motorhome.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Local attractions

Fishguard’s pretty Lower Harbour is surrounded by vegetation-covered hills, where trails lead to the ruins of an old fort. From there you can admire ferries sailing in and out of the new harbour, which sits between Fishguard and Goodwick. Near the ferry terminal is Ocean Lab - Sea Trust Wales, with an aquarium and organised rockpool safaris. Tŷ Canol National Nature Reserve (20 minutes) is dotted with archaeological remains, such as the Neolithic-era Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber (a sort of miniature Stonehenge) and the Waun Mawn Standing Stones. Castell Henllys Iron Age Village is a reconstructed settlement with roundhouses, plus re-enactments and workshops. On the banks of the River Teifi, in Cardigan (half an hour), is a castle whose medieval walls enclose an elegant Georgian house and garden. Just outside the town, the modern Welsh Wildlife Centre has informative displays on the surrounding Teifi Marsh Nature Reserve, which is home to dragonflies, mallards and otters.
