What customers say
This peaceful, adults-only campsite offers beautiful lake views and abundant wildlife, with many guests praising the friendly, helpful hosts and spacious pitches. While some reviews mention excellent, clean facilities including showers and toilets within a static caravan, others report issues with water supply, flushing, and the condition of portable toilets, particularly in earlier reviews. The site's tranquil atmosphere and location are consistently highlighted as positives.

Electric optional grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Very welcoming family, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. We are both so thankful for everything you done to ensure we had the most relaxing weekend.
Waking up to the most beautiful view of the lake was incredible.
The site was immaculate and the toilets and showers were cleaned several times a day.
Disliked Absolutely nothing!

Beautiful scenery with a nice lake but the facilities are terrible
Electric optional grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked The lake and the views were lovely
Disliked The shower and toilet facilities are worse than a festival.
Its 1 toilet/small shower in an old static caravan. The hot water was 100° 1 second then freezing cold the next, the drain was slow draining so you were standing in a shower tray full of water. The portable loos were wiped down and cleaned every day but they smelt and felt like they hadn't been emptied for weeks, the flushing of them had you nearly being sick, it was like you were just recirculating the filth from below to flush the things. Absolutely stinking.

Electric optional grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Stayed here for 4 nights over the May bank holiday, were the only ones here for 2 nights :) Very peaceful. Its only a small site but pitches have EHU and water, there are only grassed pitches not gravel. We were mostly lucky with the weather and the views of the lake and wildlife was great and the sunsets beautiful.
Didnt use the facilities so cannot comment but the site in general was clean and tidy.
Sheila, the owner was very helpful and informative. Would definitely come here again, probably with family and maybe make use of the lake.

From the manager: The toilet block is in the same field as the pitch up site as explained to you when you arrived the storm we had of heavy rain made the field very wet so I put you in the other field next to the pitch up field and you also had a mobile home to use shower toilet sink .full kitchen use and front room with board games.hope you enjoyed your stay hope to see you again soon.dominic brislin owner
Excellent site with clean amenities.Kind, helpful, and welcoming owner
Electric optional grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked We spent six nights at Ty Llyn Campsite, with a campervan + owning. It's a charming, clean, and beautiful family-run campsite. Spacious pitches, clean facilities, and a static caravan with a fully equipped kitchen, shower, and toilet. A good and safe place for our 2 dogs. Beautiful views of the lake and surrounding area. The owner, Sheila, was very kind, friendly, and helpful, she even bought my grandson a surprise for Easter, which was very nice. We had a really good time, even though the weather wasn't always great. We would definitely go there again
