What customers say
This is a beautifully maintained and very clean campsite set in pleasant surroundings with lovely walks. Guests praise the friendly and helpful staff, spacious pitches, and the on-site bar. While many found the facilities to be spotless and well-heated, a few noted issues with insufficient showers during busy periods and water pressure. Some also mentioned traffic noise. Disliked My Electric reading was not correct so had to waste time finding someone. Also I had hired a Campervan and my electric hook-up lead did not reach the plug in point so had to back up over the grass.

A great little spot for camping. It's close to some wonderful places
Electric optional grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked The pitches were really tidy, ours was in a perfect place, close enough to the shower/toilet/washing up block and close to the bar. The communal areas were well looked after and the showers hot. The owners/staff are often around to ask questions which is useful and you can also chat to them at the bar once it's open. The electricity is reasonably priced for those that need it. It's easy to find and a short drive to larger shops too. Our information was pinned to the board ready at Reception upon arrival - super quick and convenient :)
Disliked We booked assuming this so not disappointed at all, but you can hear a reasonable amount of car/motorbike noise from the main roads. You do become used to it very quickly and it's mainly around busy periods. Just one to watch if you were hoping for complete quiet at all times.
