What customers say

This is a well-maintained, peaceful campsite with stunning views over the estuary. Guests praise the friendly and helpful owners, clean facilities, and spacious pitches. The on-site bar, offering locally brewed beer and occasional entertainment, is a popular addition. The site is dog-friendly with ample space for walks. While some noted the distance to facilities and the lack of general waste disposal, the overwhelming sentiment is highly positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Viewside electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch (adults only)

Liked This is a gem of a site, with fabulous hosts, that we've visited a few times now, and it never disappoints. It's perfect for a quiet few days away, with stunning views. The atmosphere is peaceful, and there's plenty of space to relax.

One of the highlights is the weekend bar—such a lovely touch that adds a social vibe without disturbing the tranquillity. And if you're lucky enough to catch a live music event, you're in for a treat. We've attended a few, but this weekend was hands-down the best yet. The Meatloaf tribute act was absolutely amazing!

This caravan site is something really special, we keep turning up with a few extra friends and they've all agreed it's a real gem. We’ll definitely be back again soon.

Viewside electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch (adults only)

Liked Everything! The views from this campsite are so beautiful and mesmerising, they can't fail to impress.

The owners are very welcoming and have set up a beautiful site thinking of everything. Toilets and showers are excellent and kept very clean and warm. There is a small washing up shed that has eggs, vegetables and poo bags for sale and I believe at times local honey produced on the land. There is also a kettle, toaster and microwave for use.

There is a bar on site and the owner brews their own beer which is for sale on site. The bar is used by locals as well as those from the site and we found everyone to be welcoming and friendly. On the whole the vibe here was really great and this site is without a doubt the best I have been to so far in Western Wales. The site was not big and the location makes it easy to access other beaches, towns and attractions. I will definitely be back :)

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Peace and quiet. Magnificent views. Only a few well spaced pitches. Minimal lighting at night so the beauty of the night sky could be seen.

Disliked No general waste. Despite four recycling categories couldn't dispose of the odd items that can't be categorised.

Clean and tidy with large pitches

Disliked We booked as site is advertised as adults only with a bar on site (opens on a Friday and Saturday
During our stay Thursday till Sunday bar was closed on Friday due to a private function (not told in advance)However the toilets for the bar are located in the touring field so was used during the 'private function '.As the private function was attended by children during the evening the adults only hardstanding area became a playground and children playing in and around the toilet block (not very adult only )
Surely this can't be classed as a adults only area
The bar was open on the Saturday but with very limited real ale which had been previously advertised. In fact was only bottle ale available. We did not stay for the evening music as the drinks were over priced and the local pub (the farmers arms) had a much better choice of ales and was a lot more friendly and cheaper

Liked Tolle Parzellen - mit Schotter. Wasser und Strom am Platz. Mülltrennung. Fantastischer Ausblick und sehr netter Empfang. Jederzeit wieder!

Liked Lovely well run site, welcomed by Matt very friendly and helpful. View was fantastic as described, beautiful sunset. Weather was a mixed bag, had a Pink tribute on Saturday night, she was great, Matt & Sian managed the weather situation really well, opened their bar earlier for us ,also had a bit of fun karaoke😄 Maggie &Mo's pizza on site were delicious, also Matt made food on the Friday which was really good, couldn't do enough for you. Have a lovely big field for the pooches to run around, definitely recommend this family run site ,just a bit of a shame about the weather but still had a lovely weekend 😊loved Taylor's bar.

Liked Lovely views. Clean and quiet. A lovely bar on site open Fridays and Saturdays. Did not use the toilets or showers so cannot comment on them.

Disliked My only criticism is that you cannot dispose of general waste, only recycling.

Local attractions

While Laugharne’s visible from the park, it’s a 25-minute drive away around the estuary to this pretty village famed for its castle and poet Dylan Thomas’ writing shed. For more of the area's history, National Trust attractions further away – like the Roman-era Dolaucothi Gold Mines (an hour’s drive) and the handsome house and park at Dinefwr (50 minutes) – should also feature on your to-do list. Also inland are many adventures, including the mountain biking trails of Brechfa Forest (55 minutes); swing back to the seaside and cycle more sedately along the Millennium Coastal Path if thrill-seeking on two wheels sounds a little bit too much for your tastes. Of course, you’re also never far from the coast in this part of Wales… Pembrey Country Park’s miles and miles of sandy beach are a 45-minute drive away, and the shorelines of the Gower Peninsula and Pembrokeshire are also less than an hour away.
