Brand spanking new facilities, relaxed atmosphere and a budget-friendly family theme park break? Verily, it is possible. Cash-strapped parents and overly-excited youngsters alike can have an uplifting theme park hol based at peaceful Croft Holiday Park, a paltry three miles’ drive from two of Pembrokeshire’s biggest family attractions, Oakwood Theme Park at Kilgetty and adventure park and zoo Folly Farm at Narbeth. Croft is between Narberth and Tenby, where the kids will probably already have found out there’s yet another theme park…

Once you’ve been thoroughly tuckered riding the rollercoasters, totter back to base to have spirits soared at the shiny new Croft amenities: the park had a £1 million refurbishment and facelift for the 2014 season and now has a spick and span gym, salt water indoor pool, spa, games room and bar/restaurant. (The new adventure playground and the football pitch will keep the sprogs sorted while you sup a beverage on the bar terrace.)

Free wifi is available throughout most of Croft Holiday Park to plan your next trip: after small explorers have conquered most of the 14 acres of landscaped terraced grounds, this part of Pembrokeshire has plenty on hand for all ages, including a beach five miles away, walks, nature spotting, watersports, horse-riding and ferreting out the many facets of Welsh history nearby.

Pick up supplies at Narberth five miles away, where there’s a supermarket on the High Street for essentials and several independent shops for local produce and treats. Nearby Kilgetty village has a supermarket, newsagents, takeaways and an Indian restaurant.

Terms and conditions

Please read the park terms and conditions below and the Pitchup.com terms and conditions.

A contract between you and Celtic Holiday Parks binds you and all members of your party. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party accept the terms of the contract set out in these terms and conditions of booking. Failure to disclose all relevant information or comply with these terms may lead to termination of the contract and loss of the booking.

We try very hard to provide all facilities as advertised in our brochure. It may, however, be necessary to make some alterations in advance of your holiday. If such change is necessary, we will endeavour to advise you in writing as soon as possible, and give you the options in the section entitled ‘Options if we make a major change or cancel your booking’ (see below).

As an experienced and responsible operator, our aim is to provide all the services and facilities as described in our brochure. Should it be necessary for us to make any major changes to your booking, or in exceptional circumstances cancel your booking, we will endeavour to advise you, and provide the following options:

a) A replacement holiday comparable or superior to the one booked

b) A replacement holiday together with the difference in price between the holiday and the holiday booked or

c) A full refund

In addition to the above and provided it does not arise from circumstances beyond our control, we will also pay compensation for any provable loss.

Infectious or contagious diseases could easily be passed on to other guests whilst on holiday. You must inform the duty manager should you contract any such illness whilst on holiday. In order to protect our guests and team, anyone found to have such a condition may be confined or requested to leave the park. Please note that in such circumstances we are unable to offer refunds, and we therefore recommend that you take out personal insurance.

Certain facilities may have age restrictions. To ensure our guests' enjoyment in the swimming pools, session bathing may occur. The operation of the parks is subject to legislation and the guidelines laid down by the Health & Safety Executive and Local Authorities and their codes of practice. We accordingly reserve the right to adjust our services in order to meet these standards. It is possible that in some circumstances accommodation or a facility may be temporarily withdrawn, due to maintenance, renovation, adverse weather conditions, changes in governmental legislation, or any other factor outside our control. We reserve the right to make such alterations in the above circumstances without prior notice, and are unable to accept liability for the loss of an advertised facility, or to pay compensation for any inconvenience caused. Should changes occur, we will advise of these changes where made prior to booking, and will use reasonable endeavours to advise guests already booked of any changes made thereafter. Certain facilities are subject to additional cost. Parks with fishing as a facility require a rod licence, and may have additional charges where applicable.

If you feel that you have any comments or complaints whilst on holiday, you should contact the park’s reception during your stay so that we can try to resolve any problems as soon as possible. If, at the end of your holiday, you feel that we have not dealt with your complaint satisfactorily, please write to our Guest Relations office within 28 days of returning from your holiday. Please write your holiday reference number and include your daytime and evening telephone numbers. If you do not give us the opportunity to resolve the problem locally by reporting it to the park, we may not be able to deal positively with any complaint on your return. Any complaint must be submitted within 28 days to allow it to be investigated properly.
