Premised well looked after, good size camping pitches, great camp neighbours. Good athmosphere between campers.

    Disliked:

The initial contact with the lady at the reception, was a warm welcome and then a helpful young man showed us to our designated pitch. I thought they were very organised and nice.

While setting up our tent and organising our stuff, we plugged our electric car to the mains, as we paid for electricity, and we had very little mileage left after a long journey there. Suddenly a man appeared from the back of our camp neighbours pitch, behind their tent, and started shouting at us: "I'm not having that!", "what's this!?", pointing at our car and kicking with his leg, our electricity lead. He was very rude and aggressive towards us, and made very clear that he was not happy with us charging our car there. I asked why, as it is very safe, we have done it in private properties and at other campsites. He just looked at us and said: "electricity is just for the tents". I asked again if it was to do with health and safety or else, and he repeated the same very loudly: " electricity is just for tents". My understanding is that you pay for electricity and you use it for whatever you want. Charging the car uses less electricity than a kettle! The man didn't seem right in the head and seemed really out of it, so I said, "ok fine", as there was no point to try a normal conversation an it was going to lead to an argument, with someone like that. Then he left. Later, someone told us that he was the owner!! My husband wanted to leave the camp because of the way he approached us and shouted to us and with no explanation. This experience put us off and I wanted to go back home too, but with a baby and another child, to go back straight to another journey... and I refused to let that man ruin my bank holiday break.
If the camp had some kind of rules or regulations about charging electric cars... and he would have approached us in a decent way, we would have just been disappointed, but not insulted.
Then he came back again and even though the car was not connected to the mains, because we left the charging cable attached on the car, he had another go at us and shouted to us to remove the lead. We were focusing on the tent so we left the lead there, but nothing to do with him! As he seemed to approach our car to remove the lead himself, my husband quickly did it before he would touch our car. It was disgusting. I felt like he was spying on us, and he was a dictator making his own rules as he goes. He actually said "thank you", and left.
The electricity plug was too far from us, and our cable would not reach the inside of our tent. So we decided to go to reception to ask for an extension cable and complain about that man.
The lady at reception did not only NOT apologise on his behalf, but she said "in this business we have very difficult days... and it is to be expected..." Then she also repeated the same as the man: "electricity is just for tents"... I said that in this business, actually customer service is the most important, and she changed the subject quickly, talking about electricity for cars to be looked at for next year. I asked for terms and conditions or written rules of the camp, and they don't have it. So, in my view, we could have charged the car! When asking for the extension lead, she dared to ask me for a £20 deposit! I was fuming, but just wanted to move on. I paid, and she must have noticed my face and said: "you are more than welcome to leave and go somewhere else if you are not happy. I'll refund you the 4 nights." (yeah right... bank holiday weekend in August... only place to go would be back home!). This made things worse for us as it seemed that she was inviting us

Pitches near facilities very clean. Nice sized pitches. Plus is that it is close to both Broad and Little Haven beaches.

    Disliked:

Could do with more than 2 showers as there is normally a queue in the womens in the morning. Water in the showers scalding hot-not good if you have kids. Wifi pretty much non-existent in the top field. If you want somewhere quiet don't pitch there as that's were all the kids play.
